Located halfway between Reno and Lake Tahoe, this 2 bedroom cottage is your fall sanctuary in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. Enjoy warm autumn days hiking or driving along the mountain roads lined with golden aspens, and crisp clear evenings curled up next to a fire.

This custom built home features light filled spaces and amazing views of the desert and mountains. A gas stove and heated concrete floors keeps the space warm and cozy. The interior features 1 queen bed and 1 sofa bed with comfortable furniture to relax and reflect. Enjoy coffee on the deck in the morning, and watch the stars come out at night. Bring your animal companions and enjoy the fenced yard and neighborhood rural walks.

Ideal location 15 minutes from Mt.Rose ski area with hiking paths out the front yard, with downtown Reno out back. Quiet, relaxing rural getaway with all the amenities of town nearby - including groceries, restaurants, shopping, and theatre only five minutes away. Enjoy the little blue house for long or short stays and savor the peaceful rhythm of life.

Wonderful stay at the Casita Azul! I stayed 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the casita and its surroundings. It’s clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped. The owners who live in a neighboring house were friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Lots to see and do in the Reno/Tahoe/Northern Nevada area. Would recommend to others.
