The entire experience was amazing. Valet parking was very convenient. Every spot in the hotel was immaculate. The hotel bar was great. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to stay here again.

Le Capitole was quite a find. We had a great room facing the St. Lawrence, and it was so quiet we never heard anyone in the hall or in neighboring rooms. We slept well, enjoyed terrific coffee from the in-room Nespresso machine as well as in the hotel lobby, and thought the pool on the 9th floor was lovely. What's better than watching the sunset while you're in a pool? The staff was very friendly, the Clubby Bar was intimate and fun, and on our last morning, the concierge recommended a terrific bakery to pick up breakfast right on Rue St. Jean. We ate in the long art-filled hallway on the 7th floor with sunlight streaming in from the windows. Wonderful! The location was great--right by the gate leading to Rue St. Jean and across the street from a town square and concert hall. It was a weekend with street perfomances everywhere, from a circus act in the square to all sorts of musical and theatrical acts including a saxophone quartet, stilt walkers outfitted as sea creatures, a country/swing trio featuring yodeling, etc. Lots of fun, and really only a 15 minute walk to Le Chateau Frontenac. Valet parking made it easy, and we would gladly stay there again on another visit to Quebec City.

Our stay was wonderful after the check-in process and the very rude and unfriendly woman who checked us in. We never saw her after check-in and we were exceedingly thankful for that. Lovely hotel and staff except for her.
