Hollyburn Plan, Luxury Beach House has relaxing ocean views and a large stone patio.The beach access is only a 1 minute walk from the home. This property have a very spacious and open concept great room, custom gourmet kitchen with granite counters, plus seating for 8 at the large dining table and 4 at the raised breakfast bar. The living area has a stone fireplace and flat screen TV. There are hardwood floors throughout. There is a quiet primary king bedroom on the main floor with adjoining en suite bathroom featuring a soaker tub and glass rain fall shower. The remaining 2 bedrooms are located on the upper level, 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 ocean view bedroom with 2 twin beds. The home has a total of 2 and bathrooms. The living area windows and french doors look out onto the covered stone patio with BBQ. The rear yard is private, shady, provides amazing ocean glimpses and is a lovely spot for afternoon BBQ's. Reservations can be cancellation up to 30 days prior to your arrival, we will refund the deposit minus the booking fee 99.00 plus GST. Final payment is charged to your card 30 days prior to arrival. Payment and Cancellation- We require a reservation deposit, equal to 30% of your total reservation cost, as well as valid government issued photo ID and matching credit card details is required at the time of booking.

Final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. For cancellations made between 30 and 15 days prior to check-in you will be refunded 50% of the amount you have paid, minus the booking fee. Cancellations within 15 days of arrival are non-refundable.

If Breakaway is unable to provide the booking prior to check-in due to circumstances beyond their control, (examples include, but are not limited to, Forest Fires, Floods, Government Travel Advisories, Road closures) then only future stay credits for the amount paid, minus the booking fee, will be issued. No refunds will be given. Future stay credits may be used towards the booking of any property managed by Breakaway Vacations one year from cancellation date. No cash Value and non transferable. Amazing cottage. Group of friends came out to Qualicum from the mainland for the weekend. Check in was smooth and the place was very clean! Our stay was perfect! Communication with Donna (our host) was fantastic. We had a situation prior to our stay and she did everything she could to make sure it was resolved (although it was an issue through VRBO and NOT the host/owner).Although you have your own cottage, the house is part of a residential gated community. The people staying in cottages around us seemed very kind and we didn’t feel out of place at all. It is so beautiful! Beds were comfy and bathrooms were very clean. In fact, the entire house was immaculate! We will definitely stay here again if it works out.I will be writing a “ negative” review about VRBO separately on the VRBO site as I don’t want to say much on here as it was NOT the host and I do not want to overshadow their positive review. However, what I will say is MAKE SURE you confirm the cost of your VRBO rental. Make note of the dates they charge your credit card! I had an awful experience and will never book VRBO again. If you want to book this property, maybe try to find it elsewhere …? I looked back at all previous rentals through elsewhere and confirmed that I have never been overcharged or duped… only through VRBO. Anyway.. this place is amazing and if you can find a way to rent it DO IT!
