This was very simply the best time. It started with the surprise semi-private pool that I didn't tell the wife about. The treatment we received was so nice. The food, both the buffet, and the reservation restaurant, was very good. Our trip was so nice. It was exceptionally nice to be taken to a special check-in room instead of having to stand in the heat and wait in line. The only challenge we had was that wifi became unreliable halfway through our trip. We managed, but I expect better than that for wifi when such is nearly a mandatory service in today's world.

The food was fantastic. Disappointed that they only had one restaurant open all week until our last day! Need upgraded lounge chairs for the adult only pool very weathered. Housekeeping staff amazing, very clean. Little to no entertainment which was disappointing, what they had was geared more towards children.

This was the DIRTIEST place I’ve ever stayed. It was incredibly overcrowded. The open buffet was old, disgusting and had flies everywhere. There was trash all over the resort. The room looked like it wasn’t even cleaned. There were hairballs and dirt inside the bed. The staff opened our door while we were changing (they didn’t knock either) and said “oh wanted to make sure you were in here” then walked away.

Food options were limited but to be expected at an all inclusive. Beds were pretty comfortable and air conditioning is your best friend. Internet was very spotty and connection was not great. Transport was good we paid for a round trip service would highly recommend when coming to and from the airport. Overall was pretty good.

Property looks worn down. Pool tiles missing. Areas around pool get super slippery. Very very very limited umbrellas around pool and at the beach. Food is average at best. Reservations for restaurants are impossible to get and even if restaurant is empty they will not sit you or help you with a reservation. Ice cream machine only comes on for 1hour and they will cut you off when it is empty. Will not stay here again.

The hotel was nice family friendly, there were plenty of options to choose from at the buffet. If you want the nicer restaurants make sure to make a reservation at least 24 hrs in advance, over all we had a great stay. Thank you!

The property is pretty, but that is about it. They enforce rules regarding the dress code in the cafe. Now, before we booked we saw the reviews on food with people saying it was good. It was not. The food at the Asian restauraunt was delicious. The Grill was good but I was not fond with the italian food, that was decent. BUT it is hard to get a reservation. They tell you different times but they are released 24 hours in advance and it is hard for ppl to book. My friends had difficulty gettin reservatiions for a bigger group. Anywho, the food at the buffet was terrible. They mostly had pork, not many options in chicken at least. I think that this is a big point for me, we have gone to other places in the area where the food is great but here it disappointed. The soda drinks from the bar seemed watered down. The snack bar food was decent but then there the service was with attitude. I would not come back and if you are a foodie this is not the place.

I stayed 7 nights,The food in a la carte was always very good, we couldn't try the mexican restaurant because they closed it for the last 4 nights that we stayed there. Buffet was also good, they rotate menus and the quesadillas at breskast time are something you MUST try!! Drinks were good too and they were always willing to prepare upon request even if they didnt know how to prepare it... my dad would get a spresso from.the cafeteria and had the bartender prepare him a carajillo drink, for example. Staff were friendly and housekeeper was very nice too! Expedia advertises the hotel has yoga but I was told there were not doing yoga due to lack of people wanting to do it but if I wanted to do yoga they could have a class for me, and so they did!! My 8 yrs old son loved the kids club and the stuff was very caring! Overall was a good experience,. I do have some observations. There are no water sports like kayaking, paddle boarding or body surfing and that's something people going to the beach may be looking for. There are SMOKING AREAS but one of them is just right NEXT to the KID'S CLUB!! for kids health it should be moved, maybe by the beach/adults pool area would be a good locating. Rooms need to be updated and would be nice if there was a microwave in the room since either you have dinner early in order to be able to see the show or after the show. In our case we had to make reservations at 6:30 and by 11 that the buffet was closed my husband and my kids were hungry

Overall, we had a great experience. The food was delicious and authentic as was the entertainment. The hotel is dated and needs updates. The beach was incredible. My kids loved the spa and I spoiled them with a service, treated myself too. I would stay here again in the future.

Wi-Fi never worked. Our door card didn’t work the first 2 days which was such an inconvenience because we were in the 8th floor so we had to keep going downstairs. The QR code wasn’t working and when it did work it was impossible to make a reservation at the restaurants. The tour desk personnel-Patricia lied to my husband about getting a tour for a cheaper price if he signed up for a conference. The conference was a TIME SHARE conference. Not once did she mention TIME SHARE when she offered the tour. Me and her basically went back and forth about it for a while she told me we were obligated to go. When we showed up I told the other Time Share representative that Patricia obligated us to attend it at that point she told me we were free to go. Another thing that was bothersome was that the phone in our room was not working. We tried on & off for an hour to get room service and the phone sounded disconnected. Finally, if you want to get a good spot by the pool you have to go downstairs and put an item on the chair by 7 AM or else you won’t have a chair to sit on. I was extremely disappointed on this property and management.

I liked this property for Nuevo. The beach was close to the property which we liked. The adult infinity pool was great. Things of concern was the pool bar cleanliness. The washing station was questionable as the bartenders were washing the cups with a sponge by hand and I never saw any soapy water or disinfectant type dips. It was a sketchy set-up on our opinion. The buffet is customary for mexico all inclusives. The restaurants were good

We were greeted by genuinely nice hosts but every building we were in it seemed like the AC’s were not working or on very low. I understand we were there in peak of summer, but every building lobby, restaurants/buffet were just as hot if not more than outside. Our rooms were not serviced (except for the beds being made). We were there 4 days/3nights. Only one day out of 4 we got clean towels. We had to ask for toilet paper hand soap and body wash. (That’s when the brought the clean towels). There were 4 drinks in the fridge when we were told there would be 10 daily (due to the package we paid for). I don’t think I should have to be asking for them, they know how to service each room and if they don’t they should. We ended up getting our own bottles of water and putting them in our fridge. Our coffee was never replenished, our cups were never picked up and new ones brought in. After paying for an exclusive package I felt we received the bare minimum. Would I stay at this hotel again, most likely not. I’ve stayed at La Estancia and never had an issue there. We decided to give this place a try, sorry, but for the same amount of money or just a little more I rather go somewhere else. This place is really not worth it. Most of the pool and some restaurant staff were genuinely very kind and helpful that was the best part of our stay.
