I had a great stay overall, excellent service, relaxing atmosphere, and enjoyable amenities. The only drawback was some nearby construction that caused minor inconvenience. Despite that, I’d still recommend this resort and would return, ideally with a quieter room next time.

Our room was exactly as pictured, which was an obvious plus. Unfortunately neither the resort nor Expedia warned us of the EXTREMELY LOUD construction that was going on from 830-630 daily, making our room basically unusable. Expedia blames the hotel, the hotel blames Expedia, no one takes initiative or offers any real solutions other than “why didn’t you complain sooner?” … maybe instead of waiting for a complaint, offer something up front at check in?

Amenities are great. Mantamar Pool Parties, Mantamar Beach Access/Lounge Chairs, Eden Pool, Top Bar breakfast are all great. Only complaint is the construction every day at the Mantamar Tower. Loud, noisy, drilling early in the morning and throughout the day.... Impossible to sleeep in, nap or rest after long days and long nights.

I had a great time and will definitely visit again. The only thing to complain about is the retractable roof over the Eden Bar. It needs to be replaced, we were constantly dodging raindrops coming through holes and where the roof didn't completely closed.
