Because we haven't been there before and had a great experience in 2017 and again in 2020. Sad to say that the place is being run down. The hotel itself is run down. The carpets are very dirty, old and mismatched where they have attempted to cover up damaged carpeting but not with the same pattern. The floors are falling apart under you as you walk especially outside in the pool area. The gazebo where the food and bar were previously locate is now in shambles and an eye sore. Electricity and water are turned off daily from 10-3 pm. They comped us $25 per day to go to one of their resturants, New York Steak. The restaurant was closed the entire time - on the property so the $25 comp was worthless. They told us to leave the premises during the utilities shutdowns. When checking out we were charged $15 for leaving the premises. we explained to the front desk manager that we have been charged $15 a day to go out of the facility in during the facility shutdowns, and asked that rather than having $25 each day for the comped closed restaurant to apply the $15 parking fee and take off those charges from our bill. She said the only person who can do that is the hotel administrator, but didnt know when he was coming into the office. I did write "disputed" on my final bill, but I am not hopeful that the "administrator" will contact me. I do not recommend this place it is sad to see it so run down, like that but save your money.
