"Located near Shanghai Disneyland and offering a convenient shuttle service to and from the park, this hotel provides an experience that feels surprisingly close to staying at the official Disneyland Hotel—but at roughly half the price. The hotel features spacious family-friendly rooms, themed accommodations for children, and a variety of activities that help extend the Disney magic beyond the park itself. Thoughtful kid-friendly amenities, decorations, and arts-and-crafts activities made the stay especially enjoyable for our family. One unexpected bonus was the free guest laundromat, which allowed us to catch up on laundry after several days of traveling—a small detail that made a big difference in comfort and convenience. Overall, this hotel greatly enhanced our Shanghai Disneyland trip. It delivered excellent value, a family-friendly atmosphere, and helped turn our Disneyland visit into a more complete and satisfying vacation experience."

"Avoid the Mandarin Oriental Pudong at all costs. This was honestly one of the worst luxury hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was dirty, multiple things were broken, and the overall cleanliness standards were completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be five-star luxury. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. Whenever I raised complaints during my stay, nobody seemed to care. Front desk staff ignored concerns, the service staff were rude, and management showed absolutely no urgency in fixing anything. I made these complaints while I was physically staying in the hotel, yet nothing meaningful was done at the time. Now, only after I’ve left China, they suddenly want to respond by offering me an “upgrade” if I fly all the way back to China and stay with them again. So their solution is for me to spend thousands of pounds on flights and another hotel stay just so they can put me back into the same hotel that ruined my experience in the first place. Offering an airport transfer and an upgraded room does not fix terrible customer service and unacceptable standards. The management was pathetic, the handling of complaints was pathetic, and the cleaning standards were pathetic. I’ve stayed in top luxury hotels around the world, and this is easily the worst Mandarin Oriental experience I’ve ever had. Do not waste your money staying here."

"Absolutely fantastic one night stay only 10 minutes walk to the Airport checkin . The one bedroom suite was amazingly comfortable with all the mod cons and the staff were really helpful going out of their way to make sure we knew how to get to the checkin on time."
