Stay somewhere else

Staffing, location ( deceiving on map ) & overall customer service is a zero. Important / detrimental meds were locked in the safe in my room for over 12 hours because it malfunctioned & they couldn’t help me until the AM. My ID was in the safe so the manager ( use that term loosely ) wouldn’t opened it until 4 COPS showed up. Mind you I’m a military contractor & over a military ID. Worst hotel in Providence.

The hotel was great! In a great location and many attractions nearby. Only negative side to the hotel was that the street was filled with homeless groups constantly. They don’t bother you, but it made my significant other very uncomfortable, and you had to basically had to walk in the middle of the road to avoid them on both sides. Not much the hotel can do about it, but it is right upon leaving the hotel. The rooms are very clean, and have a vintage feel to them. I must state again that the location is great and you’re near so many great restaurants and bars if that’s what you’re into! I would stay there again for sure. If only they could fix the problem with the lingering folks outside. Staff is great and very accommodating as well.

Check-in person was surprisingly rude. Both to us and the people after us. Hotel might be historic but interior is like a cheap economy hotel. Rug stains, water stains on ceiling, damaged furniture, cheap soap. The “resort fee” is insulting in a hotel like this. The exterior seems to be where homeless people gather. Maybe 20 at any given time. Sign warns you that it will take 30 minutes to get your valet parked car. No other options. .

I wish I had gotten her name but there is a very nice lady with amazing eyelashes working nights who checked me in and was stellar but saw her a few other times and she was always soooo nice! Please put this in her record for review time and give her whatever she wants (raise, better days...whatever!). Not crazy about the homeless encamptment growing RIGHT NEXT DOOR but there's not againt the hotel just it's growing...

We so enjoyed being right downtown Providence. The hotel was great. It was clean and the staff was wonderful. Especially the staff in the breakfast area. The breakfast was probably the best complementary breakfast I have ever had

Dirty rooms. Out of 6 towels, 4 had stains and one had hair. The bathroom was dusty and had long black hair. The front desk staff upon check in was not welcoming, brother was the valet. There is a homeless encampment right outside of the hotel and at night they occupy both sides of the street. What was advertised as continental breakfast, turned out to be Otis S. muffins and Nature Valley granola bars. Very sad. Definitely not a 4-star hotel that Expedia advertised.
