When we opened our room there was another couple already checked into it. They had to find us another room that was comparable. The next day we were out and came back to our room and we couldn't get in because they had checked us out a day early. The room was nice except we couldn't regulate the heat because the thermostat had low battery warning and the air that did come on blew directly at our heads from the ceiling.

The only issue we had was that the TV connection was not working and it seemed to be a ongoing issue. We asked fo help twice and still an issue. The channels would not change seemed to be a long standing issue. We like to be able to see the news, watch sports and entertainment. Could not. Great old hotel in a perfect location. Wonderful staff. Fantastic breakfast included, with made to order omlets and local bakery products.

Staff was helpful and room was fine. The immediate surrounding area feels less than safe. Too many options in the area to give this another shot. Plus, the problem seems out of their control without a major overhaul of the hotel access area.
