Fees assessed that was not previously disclosed. Early check-in requires $50 fee even though the room was obviously ready. One person working the front desks, causing long lines for check in. The area around the hotel did not seem safe to walk around, saw drug deal outside front doors. They are far better options in the city then this one.

Unfortunate ending to many stays at this hotel

The heat wasn’t turn on for the hotel and our room was 60 degrees with air conditioning going. I was not told there were space heaters available and when I asked the front desk for one, it never showed. Apparently they were supposed to be in our closets but there were none. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed . Our check-in was difficult . This was the 5th time or more we’ve stayed there and the grounds and service seemed to have gone down. The room had damage and stains on the wall and baseboards , missing pictures in our parent’s room with just hangers on the wall. The property seemed run down. The elevators were not reading room keys at checkin for at least 5 couples besides us that were trying to get the elevator operating Our child is graduating college so we won’t be back this way, however the new owners Hilton should pay attention and overhaul the hotel where it is needed.

I want a refund . I was a customer from Friday until Sunday. I spent a ton of money for two nights and those absolutely no parking. You decided to book 2 weddings on parents weekend and I didn’t sign up for that. I had to wait outside several times in the middle of the night as a woman, and I felt unsafe I want a full refund. No heat! They haven’t turned it on as of 10/1. It was cold. They had to bring up space heaters. The bridge from the parking garage to the hotel was closed. Had to walk about a half block to get to the entrance. Staff was nice. Hotel is dated but that may be part of its advertised charm. The lobby is awesome. The room not so much. No Kleenex or toilet paper refills. Bed was comfy. The attached restaurant was dreary. Also no heat cause the hotel wouldn’t turn it on.

It's definitely an older hotel. That means it has charm, and also some things that make you go hmmmm. For example, the wall paneling was peeling in my room. Convenient location. We had a booking mishap for our group booking and I don't think the staff handled it well at all. No manager was around when we realized this and staff were not empowered to reasonably meet the customer's needs.

The Graduate flunked the test!!!

This place is not accommodating at all, which you think for what you pay for a night they would be. All we heard was that this is our policy, this is our policy. We were there for a wedding and they wouldn't let us check in early so we had to scramble to check in after the service and were late for the reception. We had to wake up early the next day to beg for late check out so we could enjoy the wedding brunch and not have to rush to check out. Parking is a block and a half from the hotel. There wasn't room to pull up to the hotel so we had to drag our luggage from the garage to the hotel. If you are tall, don't stay here or you won't fit on the toilet seat as your knee will be wedged under the toilet paper. Very disappointing for a place the appears to be classy. And don't be in a rush. An elevator was out of order so you had to wait and hope the one that showed up wasn't already full. And you need a Phd to figure out how to work the thermostat. You can tell they spent some money at some point renovating the hotel but they must have had a small budget. The gym was small and no restroom. Wouldn't ever stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is old and tired. What once was a grand facility is just not any longer. Staff are not rude, but at the same time, offers zero hospitality. They don’t even offer water in the rooms. I have never been to a hotel that does not give at lease a small water bottle. Charge me, but offer an option. We had a big suite, but it was very dated to a point that we were not comfortable touching things. Bathroom was small; could not sit on a toilet unless the door is shut. Water pressure goes up and down. Restaurant on the first floor is not affiliated with the hotel but similarly looked like a dive bar, not a hotel restaurant. Staff was not rude, but that’s all I can say that is positive about them. Someone needs to buy this hotel and return it to its former Biltmore-years glory.

extremely poor comfort for a 4 star hotel! - only instant coffee in the room - no possibility to raise the room temperature above 68 degrees via AC - no restaurant, no bar (they are closed Sunday and Monday) - spa 'under construction', i.e. no spa at all
