The hotel has a classic appearance, and considering how near it is to 5th Avenue it was remarkably quiet (not silent, but not loud either). Room was clean and comfortable, the staff very kind. Cool oceanic water feature in the courtyard, and a nice small pool (we didn't have time to enjoy it ourselves). Close to lots of dining options, and s half block from 5th Ave. If we were going to spend more time in Playa del Carmen, we would definitely choose this hotel.

This hotel was perfect for our family on our first trip to Playa del Carmen. It is a very short walk from both the beach and 5th Avenue, making it convenient for everything. Beautiful garden courtyard with little cenote, friendly staff, and wonderful, informative, helpful manager named Jose. Great breakfast too. The sundeck on the roof has the best view of the nearby beach. I love this hotel and will return. Thanks to the entire staff at Hotel Posada Sian Kaan!
