Beautiful but very very dirty

Very nice hotel and room. Amazing view. Room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Great layout but beware you will be cleaning it. When we got in we had dirt on our feet and there was food and dirt on the floors. I decided to get some stuff and clean the floors and bathroom and the wipes and towels were black after many wipes. Also found pubic hair in our shower. We have small children so thankfully we cleaned to protect them but it was so dirty it took my husband and I about 90min to clean until we just said good enough. In my opinion vacation is short and it’s not worth the time taken away to clean your own room.

The hotel is ok. The check in staff is very friendly. No breakfast options in the hotel. Located in the Island. Traffic is ridiculous. Valet is well worth it as the self parking options is quite a walk and comes with a cost. Walks from the elevator can be quite far. Pool is decent with a nice view of the ferris wheel, but it closes at 10pm. The balcony is from the bed room and is literally a few feet from the walking crowds at the Island. Make sure the double doors are shut and the blinds are down if you want any privacy.

We had a great one night stay. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. **However, be advised: We opted to pay extra for valet car service upon arrival where a pair of designer sunglasses went missing. I have no proof of the theft and understand this is more on the integrity of the particular staff members, but I know my shades were in their designated spot upon turning the keys over, and they were not there as we picked up the vehicle. Highly recommend this hotel outside of that experience. Hope this is useful information for someone!

This was our second time staying at the Island. It is an extremely clean hotel with the nicest employees. They gave us free vouchers for drinks and a dessert at the restaurants after finding out it was my son’s birthday. The pool and hot tub are great and we were alone in it a few days so that was nice. I have a few complaints about the rooms. The floors make your feet black so that’s kind of yucky. The other complaint is just personal to me. We’ve had rooms overlooking the stores each time. The lights stay on all night so it’s very bright in the room when you’re trying to sleep and in the morning when the sun comes up. I like it to be a cave so that could just be a me issue. My only other complaint is the loading and unloading area. In busy times, there is nowhere to park and unload your luggage or load in your vehicle. Just a heads up. Overall we love this place and will return.

We had a great time. Everything here was great. The service we got from Jess at the front desk was amazing. She we above and beyond to help us. There was a little mix upon our room an she made sure we had what we needed.. I was a little disappointed cause I didn’t have a fountain view but everything else was great.
