Big Bear Retreat is one of the largest 4 bedroom/4.5 bathroom cabin located inside our Resort, just 2.5 miles from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge at traffic light #10. Big Bear Retreat has 3 levels, 2800 square feet and hardwood floors throughout the entire cabin. This cabin will sleep a total of 12 guests and has parking for approximately 4 vehicles, with additional parking available in our Resort. Come relax in Big Bear Retreat while you enjoy the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains and Parkside Resort!

Main Level

Big Bear Retreat has 2 steps up to the front door and ramp to the left of the front door entering the main level of the home. The main level is handicap friendly. When you enter the front door on the main level you walk into the open kitchen, dining, and living room area. The living area features a gas fireplace and large flat screen TV and half bath. The dining table seats 8 comfortably with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with gray slate appliances including a side by side refrigerator (with icemaker), a glass top stove, an oven, and a dishwasher. Other items provided in the kitchen are a coffee pot, a blender, a toaster, and standard cooking and eating utensils to accommodate 12 guests.

Big Bear Retreat has vaulted ceilings with floor to ceiling windows, with accented trim work, so you can enjoy the gorgeous view of the mountains from the comfort of the couch! Watch the big game on the large, flat screen TV or snuggle up next to the natural gas fireplace, regardless we know you will feel totally relaxed in Big Bear Retreat.

The main level is also where you will find the first of four bedrooms and bathrooms. This master suite features a King size bed, a flat screen TV, electric fireplace, deck access and an oversized full bathroom with double vanity and walk in, tiled shower.

The main level deck of Big Bear Retreat is the perfect place to hang out and enjoy the gorgeous view! Here you will find the outdoor fireplace, outdoor flat screen TV with sitting area, gas grill, dining table that seats 6 and plenty of rocking chairs. Sit back, relax and take in your AMAZING view.

Upper Level

The upper level features two master suites separated by a stunning catwalk with custom iron railings and a view to die for! The loft area has a sitting area to accommodate 4. Relax and take it the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. The first room features a king size bed, a flat screen TV, electric fireplace and deck access with rocking chairs. The bathroom features a walk in, tiled shower.

The second room features two Queen size beds, a flat screen TV, electric fireplace and deck access with rocking chairs. The bathroom features a walk in, tiled shower.

Lower Level

Head down stairs with family and friends and have some real fun! When you first enter the lower level of Big Bear Retreat you will walk right into the game room. The game room features a slate, regulation size pool table, 3 arcade games, chess table that seats 4, a large flat screen TV and a wet bar equipped with a mini fridge, sink and microwave. The arcade games are unique and not to be found in any other cabins. It offers Galaga, Golden Tee and a 2 person, sit down multi-cade. You will also find the washer and dryer located in a closet off the game room. Not enough fun? Then you haven't found the private home movie theater also located on the lower level! The theater room features a comfortable sleeper sofa in the front row with movie seats behind it, stadium style! The theater room is equipped with a Blu-Ray player, and surround sound. Come rent a movie from the DVD library located in the office, or watch your favorite show on the big screen...The theater is always a big hit!

This level is where you will find the last of four bedrooms and bathrooms. This suite features a King size bed, a flat screen TV, electric fireplace and deck access with rocking chairs. The full bathroom features a shower/tub combo.

Last, but certainly not least, is the hot tub which is located on the lower level deck. Did we mention there is also an outdoor flat screen TV? You can see it right from the hot tub! The hot tub is the perfect place to wind down after a day in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park while you enjoy the AMAZING views offered by Big Bear Retreat.

During inclement weather (especially in the winter months), the Resort's roads are maintained by our maintenance staff and should not be a big concern
to you and your group. Our roads are not steep and are widely paved.

The Resort is motorcycle friendly, featuring flat, paved parking spaces suitable for motorcycles and trailers.
