This elegant private house is a 15-minute walk from the beach. It offers a quiet place for a relaxing Puerto Rican vacation paradise in an authentic beachside community near Patillas, Puerto Rico. It is ideal for a family who wishes to spend a pleasant stay in complete tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of hotels.

**Important Note: Please be aware that we will provide limited battery solar power in the event of an electrical outage after July 2025.

It is located across the street from the ocean, a 15-minute walk to the beach, and a local authentic Puerto Rican restaurant. The house is on the island's southeast side, a true Caribbean Sea getaway paradise, located right on Playa Esmeralda (Emerald Beach), a quiet beach on the Caribbean coast. It is 1.30 to 2 hours from San Juan Luis Munoz Marin Airport.

Casa Tropical is a large, comfortable, affordable second-story vacation rental home with three bedrooms with A/C, two bathrooms on the main floor, and an extra full bathroom downstairs. It is fully equipped with full-size appliances, a living room, and a primary bedroom seating area. It also provides a completely fenced-in beautiful private pool.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. ONLY the 3 bedrooms have an A/C unit
2. Parking - Only provide parking for 2 cars.
3. During electrical outages in Patillas town, we offer a limited emergency battery power supply to help you stay comfortable.
** Here’s what you can use during an outage**
- Lights throughout the house will remain ON.
- The refrigerator will continue to operate.
- Fans and TVs will be functional, but please note that portable fans should only be plugged into a light socket.

** Please note that the following appliances WILL NOT have power, so avoid plugging them in: **
• Microwave – Hair dryer - Water Heater – Washer and Dryer
• Air conditioners (NONE will have power)
** IMPORTANT WARNING**
Using any of the appliances listed above will drain the battery, cutting off ALL electricity. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss of backup power that may occur if you connect any unauthorized appliances. Please adhere to these guidelines to ensure you have the necessary power. I appreciate your cooperation!!!

4. Important Note about Supply items: a. We only provide a limited amount of basic items for the first 3 days of your reservation. Only provide a limited amount of toilet paper, dishwasher soap, and shampoo. b. We do not provide laundry soap. There is a store close by the house where guests can buy those items if needed, and while driving toward the house, there is a Walmart store.

1. Because Puerto Rico is a small island, you can get around by car to just about any destination within 1 to 2 hours. Patillas is on the island's southeastern tip, surrounded by Caribbean beaches. It is a small community with authentic local Puerto Rican charm and a true island feel, with clean, beautiful beaches and mountain scenery.

Guardarraya Beach in Patillas is located just alongside panoramic road #3. It is a beach frequented by families, who park between their palms to enjoy barbecues, the sun, and the beach. It is particularly interesting because its coast combines sand and river rock.

Inches Beach in Patillas is located just alongside road #3. Surfers frequent it for almost all of the year. It has waves that are perfect for practicing the sport. It is a unique beach because it does not have sand; its surface is of river rock.
