Clean room, clean bath. Horroble shower head. Very little water comes out. It does get hot Thin yellow sheets Only 1 top sheet, no cover or blanket. Good view. Staff nice. Safe. Right on beach. Nice sized fridge. Propertys restaurant- food average but not great. Would i stay again, probably not. Too far away. 35 minute drive to rulum

Fantastic staff and location. We were very impressed with everything. Thursday mornings host a market with local food and hand made clothes and jewelry. Popular dive shop on site but not much else for activities. Just a great spot to relax hang out at a free cabana or snorkel off the beach.

Truly friendly and helpful staff throughout the resort who worked hard to understand my Spanglish. They fought bravely to fight an influx of seaweed that was heavier than typical. No hot shower but warm enough. Room was perfect for our girls trip. Expertly cleaned daily.

Paamul has always been a favorite. We visited in 2023. However, our room AC was not working so this time and we struggled to sleep on our first night. A suggestion tip, if you have any problems with the room you need to get it sorted before 5pm otherwise the front desk closes and you will need to wait until the next day at 9am to get it sorted. We were able to get another room the next day on the upper floor after numerous visits to the front desk during the course of the day. There was no discount offered for the inconvenience. The beach was excellent to swim, the sargassum was a problem for most hotels but not necessarily a problem for paamul. They have one of the best beaches to swim. The food wasn’t bad, it could be improved. Breakfast was free for the most part, they did charge us for simple things like fruit plate or orange juice which I thought wasn’t quite necessary. All in all, a good stay. Not sure if we’ll be back again.

The view from room was “million-dollar”. The room was clean; housekeepers were good. Restaurant food was good but a little pricey. They didn’t always tell us the daily specials so we missed out on a few. I suggest asking if they don’t want to share on menu. Plus there are good desserts which aren’t even mentioned or noted on menu. My biggest complaint which won’t prevent me from visiting again is the lack of communication from front staff. We were never informed of special events (market Thursday, live music nights when a restaurant reservation is advised, good walking areas etc). English seemed challenging for front staff, not for restaurant staff. Security was excellent.

This place was amazing. We walked into our room and the first thing we noticed was the amazing view. Nothing beats being steps from the ocean. The area is very quiet and the restaurant was good but expensive. If you are staying for more than a few days you definitely need a car. We spent 4 nights there without a car and while taxis are available, they are expensive. Four nights was perfect for us. I want to send a huge thank you to Andrea from the check in office who went over and above to assist me when I lost my phone. There is no nightlife or activities here so if you are looking for a party place, this isn’t it. What you get is a nice, quiet and relaxing hotel with an amazing view and incredible staff. I have no hesitation in recommending this place.

Paamul hotel was just right. I travelled with 2 friends and we shared a beach front room with 2 double beds. Steps down to the sand. It’s a super chilled area, really friendly. The beach club restaurant does great food and cocktails. The room has a parking spot right outside, security to the area is 24/7. Not super upscale and I marked it down slightly as the safe didn’t work and we kept having to ask for extra cups and towels. If you want 5star luxury, go to one of the big brands. If you love chilling with a margarita and your toes in the sand, stay here Coffee and machine were provided. Coffee and water stocked up every day.

We love returning to Paamul Hotel. It is such a beautiful place: serene, with beautiful views and impeccable service. The rooms are super clean with all the necessary amenities and a very comfortable bed. Breakfasts are fantastic. We cannot wait to visit again. One thing would make it even more heavenly: a hammock or a lounge bed on the patio so two people can enjoy the view and the magic of stunning surroundings.

Hotel Paamul is a tranquil beachfront gem on the Caribbean coast of Mexico. We loved its cozy accommodations and the stunning views. The friendly staff and delicious local cuisine at the on-site restaurant enhance the experience. With nearby snorkeling spots and Mayan ruins to explore, it’s perfect for relaxation and adventure alike. We will have cherished memories and a desire to return to this peaceful paradise.
