The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet area that feels tucked away from the city, yet it’s still close enough for easy visits to downtown and right near the regional park. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the shower was excellent with great water pressure. One of the best features is that the hotel is truly pet-friendly, with no extra fee. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for both relaxation and convenience, and I’d happily stay here again.

The room was absolutely stunning and beautifully decorated and made an amazing place to surprise my best friend for her birthday. Although the room and the location was amazing, we did have a couple problems during our stay. We were never able to get connected to the Wifi in the room and also the air conditioning in the room was not working all night so made it hard to sleep because it was hot in the room. But the host was very good at responding to help with our troubles and did let us stay 1 hour longer due to these issues happening. Overall, great time staying there!

We've stayed at this hotel 3 times now and love it. Modern, clean, convenient location to everything with a great pub restaurant right next door. We had one issue this time while staying in room #206 we couldn't connect to the internet. Other than that, another excellent stay!

Great size room, clean, quiet, self check in great. The carpet near the shower was lifted and there was a coffee stain on the lamp which I let the host know. The shower stall was right in the bedroom with glass so if you had children or friends, it would be awkward. Would be good if there was a hook near the shower to hang the bath towels. Also, hand cream would be a great addition. Lastly, the air conditioning was loud, but they did provide ear plugs. Very convenient and nice hotel. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Quiet neighbourhood with a beautiful beach and marina which was walkable. Would definitely stay again.

The end of a really nice weekend in the Ottawa area. Stayed at a really nice little hotel in Aylmer, Quebec just across the river known as The British Hotel, built in 1834. Apparently it was quite the brawl room in its heyday. Recently purchased and renovated to include some inexpensive but very modern 2nd floor suites, electronic check-in, lock box entry, self contained pub and restaurant, patio and separate country cafe, at $125/night definitely a place I will be staying at again.

I liked that pub has a history, also older part of Aylmer near harbour. Enough cute shops and restaurants to be entertained for a day. We stayed at newer rooms and had access to elevator. We also stayed from Wednesday to Friday, the Wednesday night was quietvas pub was closed before 11pm, Thursday open later but noise was not too bad. If older or early riser would pause on weekend but they had blackout curtains and earplugs so everything was thought of to mitigate noise and light. We stayed at Deluxe , which did have separate room but bathroom shower still in the middle of room where someone sleeping so if shy will need to coordinatw. Toilet does have closed door and great temperature control and amazing shower pressure for a hotel.

There was a wedding in the hotel and we couldn’t sleep at all until past 3am. They shouldn’t open rooms to people outside the wedding party because the noise insulation is close to nothing.
