We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience from the start. There is no visible sign from the road, which made the property difficult to find. Upon arrival, we noticed the balcony walkways were dirty and had trash scattered around, which didn’t leave a great first impression.
Inside the lobby, there was a strong smell of gasoline that was hard to ignore. Check-in was also frustratingly slow. With only two groups ahead of us, we still waited at least 15 minutes to be helped.
During check-in, every guest — including us — asked about the “daily hotel fee.” It was explained that the fee covers the “free breakfast,” pool access, and housekeeping (housekeeping must be requested, even if you don't they will press their faces against your window in the morning). Unless you carefully read the fine print the additional charge was not clearly listed on their website or Expedia, which understandably caused confusion and concern among guests.
I do want to mention that the gentleman who checked us in was understanding and apologetic. He handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, a younger woman with braces was quite rude and argumentative when guests politely questioned the fee, which only added to the frustration.
