Very pretty on the on the drive up and outside- inside was so/so- The staff wasn't the most helpful, my first stay and the girl knew that- she could have been more helpful - there’s not many signs around for such a big hotel, and I asked about shuttle to parks which I knew they had - no one seemed to know anything about it - but yet it comes to the hotel to pick up guests- they looked at me like I had 5 heads - I ended up asking the second valet guy- The room smelled like a hotel, couldn’t have been a little fresher.

Really missed Tobias restaurant- hoping it’s not closed permanently. Have stayed here many times and that’s why we keep coming back we like everything about it. Love the nature trail to headwaters of the creek. the pools were virtually empty as it was Labor Day. We’ve already booked a Christmas time date at this property. That should speak volumes…

PROS: High ceilings in room, multiple pools CONS: Shuttle will drive right by you even if they don’t have anyone on it and see you are far from the hotel with 3 suitcases and 2 duffle bags. Don’t expect a free bottle of water at check-in like they offer at The Holiday Inn lol FAR walk from hotel to car and back. Again, don’t expect the shuttle to stop for you Bathtub looked like it was from the 80’s. LONG walk to room No offers to take bags to room OVERALL: An overpriced resort where you have to WORK before you can relax. You are your luggage carrier, your valet, your concierge, your own hospitality. If you don’t want to work at a hotel on your vacation, don’t stay here. You do all of the work but pay them.
