"I liked how relatively low the price was and how close the property was to beach access and stores/dining, etc. But, the person at check in seemed less than enthused about her job/being at the hotel; the walls and floor/ceilings were very thin and the quality of everything except the t.v. was very low. I would recommend better bedding/beds; either tinting the sliding door or adding a sheer curtain so that guests, like myself, don't have to keep the curtains completely closed so that people cant just walk by and see everything inside the room; replacing the light fixtures or at least the light shades so they are not dirty; replacing the coffee maker or using better quality coffee (I recently stayed elsewhere near the water for half the price and they had a much better coffee selection and better/newer coffee maker); either cleaner or newer stove; and having disposable cups available so that people, especially now, do not have to wonder about the sanitation/cleanliness of reusable ware. Altogether, this stay was fine, but I will probably spend a little more money and stay elsewhere that has more insulation in their walls and floors/ceilings and that puts in a little more effort to their guests' experience and comfort next time I stay in Ocean Shores."
