This is a great family owned place to stay on the Cabot trail. The free breakfast can't be beat, or the beautiful views. All amenities I tried worked - the AC, wifi, etc. Highly recommend this spot for one or more nights along the trail. I only stayed for one night, but would have loved to stay more

Woul definitely recommend anyone visiting Cape Breton island. A good base to explore Cabot trail, just minutes away. Very scenic views by the lake. Staff is very cooperative. Especially the owner made sure everyone is getting a warm welcome. Breakfast was topnotch with a variety of food.

Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Great views and a really solid breakfast with cereals, oatmeal, eggs, bread, yogurt, hash browns, and turkey bacon (which I personally prefer). Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Laundry room could use some updating, and pool was closed. Property was well maintained and it was a very calming stay.
