"Rooms were very clean. Staff at the Barcelo are exceptionally nice. The Royal restaurant on the 9th floor is definitely the best, especially their manger George. George is as professional as they come. Super nice, quick witted, and very particular in how he presents himself, and his dinner service is 2nd to NONE!….Nice job George. See you next year!"

"This was a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it. The breakfast was great, and the chef even made me gluten-free French toast! I took off some for cleanliness as the stairwell I used was not kept up as they expect most people to take the elevator. Also birds flock on the patio looking for food. The staff does the best they can to pick up after them, but with so many birds, it is difficult! Even in spite of all of that, I gave this hotel five stars, as it is in a good location, the rooms are very quiet, the pool is well kept and clean, there’s a nice hot tub and the beach is nice. There is a path going either direction if you’d like to walk run or bike!"
