The location is perfect — right by the water with a nice pub and microbrewery just across the parking lot. You really couldn’t ask for a better spot. We stayed here while going to a Buffalo Bills game, and the price was reasonable as well as the distance from the stadium.
That said, the hotel is in dire need of maintenance. The front door, which should be dark green, is so scratched that you can see the white underneath. The same goes for the bathroom — it looks aged and worn and could really use some refurbishing.
Another small downside is that breakfast only starts at 7 a.m., while most hotels start at 6. Since we had to leave early, we just grabbed a banana bread from the reception instead.
Overall, if this hotel were properly maintained and refreshed, it would easily be a five-star stay.
