We have stayed at Comfort Inns all across Canada and this is the first time we were disappointed. The quality of the breakfast was NOT good. As always, the staff were excellent and extremely helpful. Never, ever have had bad service from Comfort Inn staff.

The bathroom didn’t have a tub like it showed in the picture. Around the shower there was black water stain marks from leaking water. Nearly moldy. It was around the toilet too. Absolutely disgusting. The room smelled like cigarettes too and only provided one shower towel for two people….

Bed was uncomfortable. Walls were thin. Noisy guests in room next to us, yelling and banging all night. Hotel manager shouting at the neighboring guests 4 times in middle of night to tell them to keepnit quiet or she will call the cops. Cops never called because they continued to do the same thing the next night. The 3rd night an alarm went off at 6am from room next to ours. When I called the front desk, manager said guests will set alarm clock and then leave. She shut it off after I called. We chose this hotel because it is 2 blocks away from the hospital. We were traveling on a medical family emergency. So, we did not get any sleep at all at this hotel. Lack of sleep added to our stress we were already dealing with, so I decided to check out 2 days early, however they charged me for the 1 night out of the 2 because I didn't give them 24 hours notice regardless of my complaints. Sorry, but I do not recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to get a good night's rest.

We stayed at Comfort Hotel on December 29. Upon arrival, our group was assigned rooms 101, 102, and 103 on the first floor. Unfortunately, we noticed that the hallway on this floor was consistently dirty throughout our stay. Given the winter conditions, with snow and water being tracked inside, the floors became slippery and posed a safety concern—especially considering that children were present. We did not observe regular cleaning of the hallway, which would have been greatly appreciated. Additionally, in room 103, the heater was extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep. A handyman did come to inspect the issue; however, the noise was not resolved, and my parents were unable to rest properly during the night. I strongly recommend addressing the maintenance issue with the heating system and ensuring more frequent cleaning of the main floor hallways, particularly during winter months when conditions can become hazardous. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent. The buffet selection was a highlight of our stay and truly a strong point for the hotel.
