Don't use this property. I'm very mad about the booking and want a refund from hotels.com. I arrived at the hotel later in the evening and tired. Found the front desk was behind bulletproof glass. The cafe/restaurant was closed and secured behind a security fence like you see at the mall. The room numbers were written in sharpie on blue painters tape. Everything was stained and battered. The paint on my room door was mostly scraped off. The security latch on my room door was broken off. The fire alarm in the room was chirping. When I opened my door to return to the front desk for another room, there were two Newburgh PD officers next door responding to a "disturbance." While I was waiting at the front desk for a new room, the officers came back down to the lobby. I asked them if this was a safe location and they said "do you want to know the truth? We wouldn't stay here." While talking to the PD, another couple returned to the front desk and turned in their key. Said they couldn't stay there since the quality was so poor. The woman behind the bulletproof glass would not give them a refund. The place was unclean, and I felt unsafe. I just left the property, and had to drive 30 miles to find alternate accommodation.

This hotel is so rundown and dirty, it’s disgusting. Multiple guests were commenting on the cleanliness and ended up refusing to stay because it was so dirty.

Hotel looked like in the midst of renovation. Paint on carpets. Garbage on floor. Room numbers were written on masking tape stuck to the door. Chairs in the room were dirty. Hairdryer broke. Leaky faucet. Refrigerator not working. Air conditioner had a bad smell. Fitness room was locked with a padlock. I think there was either no elevators or not working. Heard customers complaining when we were checking in and checking out. We only stay because no other places available. I had to check our beds meticulously for bed bugs.

The hotel is under renovation and not ready for guests. The room carpet was filthy with construction debris and other unknown stains. The TV didn’t work, the microwave didn’t work. The room numbers were written on tape and stuck to the doors. The door casings were not replaced. The beds and bedding were both lumpy and dingy. The check in staff was pleasant but the facility should close until functional and clean for guests.

The rooms were dirty and stained. The staff only provided half the towels for the number of people registered for the room and when we asked for additional ones, they were not able to provide them until after 9 am the following day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The entire building was run down and dirty. There were cieling tiles missing, holes in the bedding, tv did not work, furniture was ruined, fridge did not work, water dispenser didn’t work and everything had a musty smell.

This hotel is the stuff nightmare’s are made of! Firstly, there are stairs everywhere and no elevators or ramps. Room doors have huge holes in them that are now covered by cardboard. There were at least three busted out windows on the first floor outside. My room smelled like a bar back when everyone smoked. One set of curtains were thrown across the chair. There were blood and urine stains on the pull down fabric window shades that no longer functioned and just stayed down making the room pitch black. There was stains on the carpet everywhere! I was scared for any of us to walk barefoot. All the stairwells had writing on the walls, the stairs were literally falling apart as was the bedroom furniture. The carpet baseboards were frayed and in some cases pulled off the walls. There were people everywhere that seemed to be on drugs, selling drugs, or prostituting. My family witnessed several baggies with white powdery substances along with cut straws in the hallways. I was blocked by a very vulgar lady that pushed me as she tried to touch my Uncle who was in a wheelchair, he is elderly with Down Syndrome and she literally wanted to fight me because I asked that she stop blocking the door entrance to the hotel and allow us in. Her response was to then start touching my elderly uncle so I told her not to touch him. This resulted in her pushing me then attempted to let everyone but me in but my family didn’t allow it. Don’t stay here! It is unsafe! We were scared the whole time!

The room was in rough shape with damaged walls and scuffed furniture. The front desk staff were not friendly and spoke very little English. I felt unsafe. The security lock on my door was broken and the cleaning staff opened my door while I was in my room about 20 minutes after I checked in to the hotel. Also, on my second night, I arrived from dinner to find five police cars at the hotel with two police casing the first floor hallways in pursuit of a suspect. It was not a very relaxing nor pleasant experience. Also there are 3-4 steps after every couple of rooms, and this makes it difficult to roll your luggage to and from your room.

Front desk had a bulletproof glass, totally different picture from online. Room numbers were hand written on blue painters tape. No elevator. The room was dirty and I had dead moth on bath towel. The windows were left opened for air conditioning which we didn’t notice till next morning with birds chirping sounds. Stuff was unfriendly and refused to give extra soap. Hair dryer was broken. I was just the worst and scariest place I’ve ever had to stay. The worst part was I was charged for $380 just because it was a busy weekend and all the hotel in area were sold out. Just horrible experience and Expedia should take the hotel out of their choice or charge much lower
