Nightmare!!!

Unfortunately my friends and I walked in and walked right out. The in heat in was unbearable, the rooms- I have no words for. To put the cherry on the cake, when we canceled our reservations I told The hotel clerk, that she forgot to give me back my debit card. She insisted she gave it back to me. The following day I called again, another desk clerk answered the phone and said they had my card.

4/5 Good

Inexpensive, allowed dogs, (understandable pet fee - but was not too high, just $25 extra). Room was nice, but tub was odd - water trapped under tub liner, felt like standing on a water bed. They'll have to fix that. Breakfast was very good - eggs, sausage, potatoes, toast, OJ, coffee, tea, cakes, fresh fruit (and it was nice, fresh and cold!). We were planning on going to the iHop down the road, but the breakfast here was fine - ate some and went on for our plan of hiking. Lobby nice, grounds OK, big party the night we stayed so we didn't see any 'odd' types. I guess with a depressed rust belt town like Newburgh you might get 'unsavory' types at some of the cheaper hotels (maybe some offer themselves out as local homeless shelters?? I don't know), but it was OK for our night. A/C, fridge, Microwave, TV, bed all were good. Pillows - no, bring your own if you are a bit picky like me (way too overstuffed with fiber, I like mine denser and flatter.) David, the manager (?) was SUPER helpful and friendly. For a hotel to crash in after a long day of hiking upstate - they did a GOOD job.

Our room smelled cigarettes. it's not a hotel -- it felt pretty much like a cheap motel

Hello! I booked a room at Hudson Valley - Kerhonkson and got a room in Hudson Valley Newburgh. I cannot afford 2 rooms. I am very upset. My husband lost his job in February ! I did not know there are 2 Hudson Valley Hotels. It’s a trap. I can’t even pay our bills and you are CHARGING ME FOR A ROOM I NEVER EVEN SLEPT IN I called and spoke to a Manager 5 times. Please refund me. I beg you. We are poor. I only needed a room in Hudson Valley Kerhonkson. Please help us. Thank you. We are a good family That got a room in Newburgh and not Kerhonkson. We did get a room finally in Hudson Valley Kerhonkson but why are there 2 hotels with the same name? When you don’t live in NY you don’t know the names of the towns. Please refund my money. Thank you
