This is a great area to stay when visiting NYC - lovely comfortable room and bed and lots of great local bars and restaurants to try out (not manhattan prices!) 10mins walk to the NYC ferry that takes you to Wall St - Pier 11 in 10mins - fantastic service. Loved this hotel and the area and highly recommended it.

The hotel is very convenient to the cruise port—about a 5 minute walk. Walking is quicker than a cab because of the traffic pattern. Lots of good eating options in the neighborhood. Hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful and friendly. The only complaint is their weird breakfast set-up: rather than the usual buffet option, they offer a one-size-fits-all bagged breakfast.
