The room itself was acceptable, but the bed was very uncomfortable and only had a thin quilt — no proper duvet. The windows were quite dirty, and the bathroom was in poor condition, with visible mold, rust, and loose fixtures. It was an accessible bathroom, which was fine, but the water barrier at the shower base was broken, causing flooding after every shower.
We requested a refund through Expedia upon arrival to switch rooms, but it was denied. Expedia stated that the hotel declined the request, though I can’t be certain. What was most disappointing was that the hotel never reached out after the refund request to offer a room change or any assistance to improve our stay.
Overall, the experience was very disappointing, especially considering the rate of over $400 per night.
