Clean house, nice guests, responsive community manager. The rooms are small but do the job, and the building is beautiful. Perfect for a solo traveler or small group to stay together with kitchen access if your focus is to be out and about in the city.

Overall the place was HORRIBLE,NO EXTRA TOWELS OR CLEAN LINNENS BATHROOM WAS LEAKING ,ROOM HAD A WATER BUBBLE WHICH MADE ROOM MILDUE STUFFY, COUKD NOT FLUSH TOILET PAPER DOWN THE TOILET ,IT WAS JUST GROSS FOR A FEW HUNDRED MORE YOU COULD OF STAYED UP THE STREET AT THE MOORE ,WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND CHELSEA OUTSITE

Nice stay. Very low bed and little room to get in and out. Great location. If booking through Expedia, be careful to check for shared/private bathroom as the description is misleading.

Enjoyed my stay at Outsite - room was clean, functional and perfect for a few days stay. Walkable to plenty of food options and a couple blocks from Penn Station. Would most definitely stay here again.

Detailed Review

Good for a hostel stay, on the boujee side of hostels probably. Individual bedrooms have locks. 1 shower for each floor with about 5-6 rooms but I never ran into ppl which is great as a night showerer. Bathroom cleanliness is really up to guests as they do not get cleaned daily so it seems but it's tolerable. Towels provided. Bedrooms were clean, I did see a cockroach outside on the stairs tho but nothing in the bedroom thank god. Very VERY good location 15mins walk from penn station. 4 mins walk from luggage storage if needed. Safe area, food around and target. Good bang for your buck No customer service around. Self check in only. NOTE: stairs only, NO ELEVATORS. I forgot to mention I had large luggage so had to lug it up 3 flights of stairs. I assume if I made them aware I could request for the first floor it would've been fine. So just let them know.

The place and amenities were really nice. The only bad thing was the bathroom got nasty really quick so for me the shared bathrooms won’t work. But they do have private bathroom rooms. Other than the dirty bathrooms not getting cleaned enough everything was great, location and space.
