Great value for money, clean room, enough space for one. Only thing was despite the rules asking you to use headphones as the tops are open my neighbour played videos and conversations out loud. This was not the Joel’s fault but should be mentioned.

Almost everything was great. It was my first stay and I will definitely return. It is the best hostel-style accomodation in the city. There are a couple of things I hope they can address. The toilets don't flush very well so there are always remnants (mostly toilet seat covers and toilet paper) left behind and it doesn't really matter how many times you flush. The other thing is that there should be more hooks in the Now or Never rooms. I know that they advertise that this is a perk of a "Premium" room. However, the Now or Never rooms are the largest and putting two or three more hooks in the room would not cost much. I understand they may not want to cover the artwork, but functionality outweighs artwork. There were two hooks, one for my towel and the other for the robe. No hook for a coat, etc. By the way, the robes are great. It actually fit me, a larger woman, and provided robes usually do not. Overall, a great place. Not perfect, but great.

Stayed the 6th of December 2025 for a weekend. Great & safe place as a female traveler. Beds were very comfy, rooms & bathrooms were sufficient. Robes & slippers & eye mask & all the extras were a nice touch, including free tampons in restroom. Price was excellent. Within walking distance of everything. We covered 15 miles in 2 days! Lots of restaurants within walking distance & open late. Felt very safe out, but I was with my husband. I was on the 3rd floor, he was on the 4th. I booked him months ahead. I unexpectedly was able to have the weekend off & booked myself at now now as well. No regrets! I slept well, temperature was a little warm for us but a fan is helpful to travel with. I did hear doors Opening & shutting but it's expected especially if you need to use the restroom. Everyone including guests were very friendly and respectful. They had security outside the doors, its very safe. No issues except guests who do not follow the rules. Headphones not used (maybe offer ear buds for purchase at front desk while going over the rules) & talking on the phone at 2am, ridiculously rude. Im assuming it was a language barrier as maybe they dont understand the rules at check in possibly. I did message front desk & unfortunately it wasn't addressed. Wear earplugs, some people are plain rude and just refuse to follow rules, there's always one. Definitely worth staying & id stay again.

The rooms were clean and I didn’t mind tight quarters, however the acoustics are bad and you can hear every noise and door slam. It was incredibly warm when I first got there and cooler later which was preferable. Staff is excellent.

It was exactly what I needed as a solo traveller. The bathrooms and showers were always kept clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. In an excellent location as well and easy to get to SoHo, the west village, the east village, Little Italy and China Town .

The cabin rooms roof is an open ceiling and the lights from the other room from the other person at night peeks through only downside! They had it on all night!!
