Fantastically well thought out pod type hotel. Elevated amenities for each pod (ear plugs, sleep mask, white noise machine, high quality bedding etc.). The area around the hotel is amazing, Noho, Nolita, Alphabet City, Lower Eastside, and Chinatown are all walkable. Very impressed with this property. Definitely recommend!

It's a truly great place with a great staff and very professional. The concept is pretty neat in having something more affordable with pod like rooms that are basically a bed with just enough room to store your things. It's very reliant on a common understanding that with the open ceiling in all of the rooms that everyone shares that everyone must be quiet and respectful. Unfortunately a good number of people didn't adhere to the unspoken understanding with people slamming doors over and over. A guy next to me was playing his music without headphones. It's a gamble if you're going to get an entire floor of people all being respectful or not. Stay if you're feeling lucky I suppose. I wouldn't stay there again. I just don't have faith the 100% of people will adhere to basic common courtesies as they did not.

Incredible staff, it really is worth it if you are a solo traveler wanting to get away and come back to a clean, safe, and beautiful location in Manhattan. Lots of great food options and shops around. 10/10 will come back and would recommend!

Capsule hotel

Perfectly fine if you know what to expect. Space is small but affordable. You're going to hear doors and people around you. I suggest using some noise canceling headphones or the ear plugs they provide you with. Stairs, no elevator (you could be booked 4 flights up). There's more bathroom stalls, showers in addition to lockers for larger luggage, and a small eating area with a couple tables downstairs. All the amenities for showering (soap, shampoo, conditioner, towel, robe). Just wish they had some disposable toothbrushes and razors.

Lovely, easy check-in, great location. Tiny, oddly accessible shared restrooms and showers. I was disappointed to find most rooms/cabins are on a fourth floor walk up, no elevator. Definitely not for anyone larger or older. Were it not for the fact that I had an engagement shortly after check in time, and perfect location, I probably would have sought something else.

Cheap option for a solo traveler in a convenient location in new york city, however this hostel style hotel is not for everyone. Rooms are the size of a closet and with the open ceilings you can hear every movement around you. Constant sneezing, coughing, snoring etc that you could hear was unpleasant and the no food in the room rule is something that should be listed on the expedia page because i wish i had known that before booking.

Loved the mattress, the bathrooms (the shower controls were simple to use)and the provided toiletries. Big plus for Dyson hair dryers which I used to dry my clothes. There's also attractive mosaic tile on the floors and in the bathroom area. I don't understand why hotels no longer offer washcloths. Are people excessively stealing them? Wish the walls were more soundproofed, especially considering the open ceiling. My neighbor kept zipping and unzipping his suitcase. Also, it's annoying when people slam their doors. In New York City, this is a major faux pas. Be considerate and hold the door while you close it!

This was an interesting experience. Hotel is meant for sleeping ONLY. Small space but it works for simplicity. Only thing I “did not” like was lack of plugs for charging devices. Would stay again
