The staff was very friendly and the room was reasonably comfortable. Ask for a room in the back. My room was at the front and was just a few yards from the tracks where the train passed by every few minutes.

Property was perfect for an extended weekend stay! Hotel manager, Raul was very pleasant. All staff were warm and accommodating! Rooms were clean and cozy! Lobby offers fresh coffee and an assortment of teas all day! Hotel conveniently located by subway. There was a lovely Dominican cafe, walking distance from hotel! Will definitely be back!!!

The hotel was great, but parts of the neighborhood were sketchy. Be aware an elevated subway passes in front of the hotel and runs all night.

Hotel 1200 was a very good property that provided a clean and comfortable room. Sadly, the property was adjacent to an elevated train system above Broadway that was very noisy when trains passed by the hotel. We would recommend requesting a room on the Van Buren Street side of the hotel.

If you like fleas you should stay here! A picture of fleas on the bed was shown to the Indian supervisor and he condescendingly said “we don’t have this here” after clearly looking at photos of fleas in the bed… No apology no let me switch you to another room.. There is a very spacious room they have to keep your luggage in before check in time. My friend arrived before me and she got to see that it was a big room. When I arrived the Indian supervisor kept hurrying me to give him my luggage so he can store it in the room. I said let me just get a couple of things out and I should be good to go. We left at 12pm in the afternoon to sight see and when we came back at 7pm both of our luggages were in the lobby!! I asked the front desk associate where the supervisor was and he said he had gone home. I said let him know I am very upset that both of our belongings were left in the lobby. He said he would be more than happy to let him know and that the boss is always on their case and leaves tons of work for them to do so that he has none. Clearly a distracted and not detail oriented supervisor. On checkout day the Indian supervisor saw me and you could tell he felt a little embarrassed. While a front desk associate was asking me questions to check out the Indian supervisor asked me “how was everything”. I jokingly said “everything was good but not my luggage being left in the lobby that’s not good.”

The hotel was clean, the room was clean, super nice staff. 5 - 10 min walks to restaurants, 3 min walk to the J train. the whole stay was pleasant. I mean its Brooklyn!
