Our stay was okay. Service was friendly. We got stuck with a room on the bottom floor that had a trash bin outside so we couldn’t open the window without it stinking. The room was nice and comfortable. The shower unfortunately took 10-15 minutes to get some hot water running. Overall nice hotel unless you get put in our room.

Very convenient hotel at a great price. Very close to a subway station so it’s easy to get into Manhattan. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are friendly. I’ve stayed here before and I’ll stay here again.

Hotel was everything I needed it to be. Got a really good deal as I booked just as it opened as Nova and was staying on my own for 4 nights. Room was spacious, relatively clean and had access to the subway. The free coffee is a nice touch as well. Staff were very nice. A decent place to stay with easy access to Manhattan and around 50 mins from JFK on the subway.

I did not feel safe in this hotel. There is no security to get onto the elevator to go up to our room. Our door was flimsy the door hinge had to be repaired by maintenance and I am sure to use a deadbolt at night, but what are you supposed to do about during the day when you’re gone and you’re not able to add on an extra security lock. Due to the lack of security, I did not feel comfortable in going to utilize the fitness center.

The bed wasn't very comfortable, and you need to request maid service, but they don't tell you that. The neighborhood is in a warehouse district, so there aren't many options. The rooftop bar was closed due to weather, which happens.

The room was clean and the balcony view of the city was great! The bed dipped in the middle which was a little uncomfortable but the mattress was very comfortable which made up for it. There is a safe in the room but you cannot use it as it’s from a previous owner but reception advised me they could not remove them as they are attached to the wall. I would recommend for an affordable stay for a visit to NYC with subway connections straight into Manhattan.

Very basic. OK stay with mates but thankfully booked somewhere else with my partner. It was OK, no frills and fairly cheap I guess. The area didn’t seem particularly safe, roof top bar was hardly ever open and closed early.

The only problem we had was there was a promotion event in the rooftop bar for Porsche cars we had room 410 and to be honest you are going to have a problem with that room from the noise

Building is cheaply put together. Room felt very cheap and had paint speckles all over the floor and seemed unswept. I got a cheap rate but could not imagine paying their normal rate for what felt like a slapped together hotel with the pure purpose of making money for the property owners with very little effort. Location was fine but very noisy. Staff was friendly and helpful though.

This hotel is ok if you need to be in the area. This rooftop bar is nice. However, one of the nights we were there they had a dj blasting music so loud I finally had to take my drink back to the room. Also, there was only one Keurig in the lobby to serve the whole hotel and it broke the first day we were there so no coffee the entire trip.
