The location for this hotel is excellent. It is a 20 minute walk to Times Square. The staff are kind and helpful. The only things to be aware of are slow elevator and the HVAC for this hotel is very curious. In the mornings, our entire room would smell like breakfast although we were on the 12th floor.

Lovely hotel in a really great location. 5 min walk from grand central. Rooms a little dated, but extremely clean and comfortable. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Free safe in room. Would recommend and would definately return. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic too, great choice of juices, cereal, toast, bagels and the biggest hit was the make your own waffles.

The bathroom door was a sliding slab, with resulting cracks/openings around the edges. This resulted in a lack of privacy. Also, there was no bathroom fan. This was sub-par.

The only two things good about this hotel were the location and the breakfast. The room was too small with no fridge and microwave. If you want to have a fridge, you need to pay ten dollars more daily and I've never seen such a thing before. Upon arrival, they ask you to pay 100 dollars per night incidental and when they ask them about why, you don't get an answer and they just repeated the same sentence like a robot. I know it's a busy and expensive area in New York, but the room was too small even for that area. The front area and the sign of the hotel are left on their own with the area dorty and the sign is always off. Overall, I expected much better service, hospitality, and cleanliness from a hotel with such a high guest rating.

Very clean and comfortable hotel in a great location. The staff elevated the stay from standard to excellent. Everyone we encountered, from the breakfast staff, front desk, and cleaning staff, were all extremely friendly and kind, especially to my eight year old son. I'd stay there again simply for the kind people.

Victoria and Zayid were amazing: friendly, kind and helpful. It was a pleasure to see them every time I came to the lobby and they treated me like we’d known each other for years. The location and amenities in the hotel are really good. Only complaint is that it could use some updating to the carpeting and furnishings.

The room was nothing like the picture although it was clean and comfortable and for the time we spent in it adequate. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Was a good location for exploring New York. The breakfast was served on plastic plates with wooden cutlery. Was very crowded.
