Excellent rooms, location was great. Check in was not very pleasant. Waited in line 3 times before I was able to receive my room, which was after 4:00 that evening. All other amenities were very nice and pleasant.

On the first night At 3am, The smoke alarm began alerting to a low battery by beeping loudly every 30 seconds. it took over half an hour and multiple calls for anyone to come to our room and assess the situation. Maintenance removed the alarm. We had the remainder of our stay WITH NO SMOKE DETECTOR. It was never replaced. There are charges I did not authorize on my account. Overall, I feel I paid too much and got hoodwinked by hotels.com and Hyatt.

Room and hotel were very nice, clean and comfortable. Only complaint is the front desk check in process. They were extremely slow and didn't have enough to check in the line of guests waiting. they also were allowing people who walked up and cut the line to be assisted instead of calling the next person waiting in line.

This could have & should have been a 5 star hotel/experience. Unfortunately, had to knock off two stars for the check in experience. This was our annual mom's trip away. We always stay in area hotels and have never had issues with major hotel chains accommodating breastfeeding mothers/breast milk storage. We decided to try the Hyatt Regency Times Square this year and called ahead to ensure the hotel could store breastmilk in a freezer and were assured that this is not an issue. Unfortunately, when we checked in we were told that outside of the "cooler" in our hotel room, it would not be possible to store breastmilk. The manager, Joe Griffin, met us with total ignorance and gaslighting, asked us to prove whom we spoke to on the phone and further, Joe was ignorant as to why the mini fridge (previously referred to as a "cooler" by the female front desk staff) was not adequate to store breastmilk for 3 days. Further, Joe offered no solutions, accommodations or understanding. He did finally agree to waive the hotel service fee as all area hotels were fully booked and we could not move our reservation to another hotel. We had to ourselves go to the hotel restaurant and request to speak to the restaurant manager to see if they had an appropriate area to store breastmilk. Thank goodness for Agat who expressly understood our anxiety and helped us with storage. Shout out to Kenny, front desk, as well, who "fought" Joe to get us a ROOM at all (they overbooked??) & a late checkout.

Uncomfortable bed with a noisy synthetic comforter (sounded like a cheap old school sleeping bad with every turn). Cheap toilet paper and tissue and stingy with it - ran out twice in 5 days. No ice machine on the floor. Thermostat went out one night and maintenance had to fix it. No apologies. Read the fine print because they charge an additional $45/night and also held $185/night ($600) on my credit card. When I asked about it, the front desk worker curtly told me it often comes as a surprise to people who use a third party to book. I asked for something in writing about the hold on my credit card and the hold release and was told their system couldn’t do that. I checked out at 11 am and still waiting for the release. Not a happy camper.
