The room and bedding was clean and nice but the neighborhood wasn’t great. It felt like I had to walk down a dark side street in Chinatown to get to the hotel.

First, the staff was great! Very pleasant, efficient, and informative. THEY are the reason anything else I talk about really doesn't matter. They work hard to please and are successful in that endeavor. Ok, now the minor detractors... the rooms are small but had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The only big negative is that the bed was made with only a bottom sheet and the comforter on top. It was missing the top flat sheet. I'm used to sleeping between 2 sheets and a comforter in top for warmth. Since it happened again after the room was cleaned, I understood this is by design. I felt uncomfortable sleeping with the comforter as my top sheet so they quickly brought one on both nights. They claimed to wash the comforter every time but I found it hard to believe. Doesn't matter, they fixed it! Regardless of the room size and the sheet concern, I would gladly tell anyone to book a room there. It's a good value and it's in the middle is Chinatown so it was easy to walk to delicious food. I'll stay there again next time!

Bathroom floors with filthy. When I asked housekeeping to clean them, they showed up with one washcloth and used the toilet paper to wipe the shower and floors. No cleaning supplies….see pictures for AFTER their house keeping “cleaned” the floors. Needless to say, I had to buy some flip flops.

Room was small but very clean, comfortable, & updated. Front desk staff were helpful & check-in was fast and easy. Bathroom had a very nice walk in shower and there was an ice machine on our floor. Places to dine and go shopping are all within walking distance and theres a playground close by. An entrance to the subway is super close, making it easy to get around New York. AC worked well.
