We absolutely loved staying at the Olivier! Beautiful historic grounds and central location near to everything in the quarter. Lovely courtyards and unique rooms. The petite loft was so cozy! And of course the kitties were an added bonus. We enjoyed seeing them and petting them on our way in and out each day. The staff was so friendly and welcoming too. Would definitely love to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was so unique, lots of antique touches, with modern amenities. Quick walk to Bourbon St and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to my friends in a heart beat!

The room we stayed in was small and very eclectic. I understand the aesthetic they were aiming for, but they completely missed the mark. The room itself was somewhat unkept, the bathroom vent looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years and had built up so much dust it resembled a beard. The lighting in the bathroom was dim, making it hard to see, and the small, low mirror was awkward to use. In the kitchenette area, part of the ceiling appeared to be sagging or coming loose. On a positive note, the complimentary coffee and bottled water were excellent. Unfortunately, the front desk staff were unfriendly and rarely greeted guests coming or going. This hotel is definitely a one-and-done stay, not somewhere I’d return to.

We stayed in the Casa Xiques room and it exceeded expectations! Having a washer/dryer and a fridge that dispensed ice/water was such a great upgrade while staying there. It was a block from Bourbon street and we were secluded enough that it was peaceful. We didn’t use the pool, but the whole center courtyard was well kept. Very charming historical property.

It's a remarkable hotel, unique in so many ways due to its historic nature. Every room is different, so it's all very cool...it feels like a bit of a maze finding your way through the hotel, but in a fun way. Great staff and very nice pool make this a great place to stay. Just be warned: don't pick a balcony room facing the street unless you are prepared to deal with some VERY loud traffic noise from the streets below. (Cars with *booming* stereos are very frequent, well past midnight.) Choosing an interior courtyard balcony will make a huge difference.

Our one night stay was really nice. Check-in, valet parking all smooth. Location on Toulouse was excellent, yet the room was perfectly quiet all night. Older home/hotel, but updated enough to be both NOLA charming and comfortable. Valet rate was better than most and worth it, especially if you have driven a truck around town looking for parking!! Shout out to Ian for sharing family maritime memorabilia- a great welcome aboard. Beds were excellent-2 queen sized in our room. We would stay at the Olivier House again.
