Beautiful hotel in the heart of the quarter. Check in/out was a breeze and the staff was friendly and helpful. Valet parking (with vehicles stored in an secured, elevated lot) was available and quick. Lovely interior courtyard.

The hotel is beautiful! Just what we were looking for! We loved the feel of historical News Orleans with the courtyards and balconies...it felt like we stepped into a other world! Just keep in mind that there are rats around outside as you walk at night, in the courtyards and on the streets. It is a great walkable location to everything in the French Quarter! Staff is very helpful, accommodating, and kind. They made our 1st visit to NOLA wonderful! We hope to return again and we will definitely stay here again!

We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean and was running while we were there. The room was clean and neat, though the bed was a little too firm for our comfort. (Not much can be done about that.) The French Market coffee was delicious! Staff were very friendly and courteous.

The staff are amazing and go above and beyond for us! The place is beautiful and every room is different. Have loved each room so far, and have a few favorites. We enjoyed our stay very much! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and comfortable. The stay was wonderful.. we had not been back to New Orleans in almost 12 years... The City has changed but not the comfort of the Place d Armes Hotel... We have stayed at this hotel many times for many years before our last visit.. The rooms was beautiful.. a bit small but really all we usually need.. In the past we have stay in room 111 and we loved it...maybe the next time we will request this room again...

A charming hotel in an older building convenient to much of the French Quarter. We stayed in interior rooms (no windows) and found them perfectly quiet. Staff were SO helpful and friendly. Our rooms were immaculate and the bedding really comfortable. We're pretty allergic people, and we had no problems at all. We will stay again for sure.

We absolutely loved this hotel! Staff was helpful and friendly from the time we arrived until the time we departed! We had a windowless room in a building off the courtyard and it was perfect for sleeping in after fun late nights. It has character and is in an amazing location.
