Never got my deposit

My room was poorly lit. The cable was out in our room. The cold water in the tub kept running. I never received my $75 deposit back after my stay during Labor Day Weekend.

This motel is disgusting. The AC doesn’t work. The TVs don’t work. The toilet overflowed when not even being flushed! The pool etc water was all green and dirty. The staff is obviously used to all of these things. We moved three rooms over 5 hours. It was all around awful. The lady from the front desk begrudgingly moved us to the final destination of rooms and was very nonchalant about the flood into the room or the 80* room, she said “wasn’t that hot.” It was. And it has cooled off from the fan that he’s given us for the heat and cooler air from outside, in Louisiana, early September heatttttt. This whole stay was crazy. Resident crackheads are a good indicator of a real issue in the motel. All bad.

I booked a room with double beds and a balcony. I was given a room with 1 bed, no Window no balcony. I asked about it and was lied to by the lady working the front desk. Called downstairs a dozen times to get WiFi password, no one ever answered the phone

Don't book

The place is a dump cheap hotel for the night as I am a uber driver and the price list is cheap. However, they will charge you a cheap rate and then ask for a 75 security deposit and not refund it. So the real price is the cost of the room plus the security deposit

Booked online and looks good, but when I arrived, I felt I was in the slum. Elevator was junky. I felt like it was going to break any minute. Hot tub was made out of old flower bed. My room had a thermostat on wall, but I could not ever get it to go below 80 in room. The person that checked me was very pleasant. That was about the only thing good. I was told I would get deposit back — I am still waiting! Also, description doesn’t tell you that hotel is right next door to IV DUMP, and across the street from homeless people living in streets!! Bathtub was painted and paint was chipping off. Room was on 4th floor and window opened fully, no protection, no screen NOTHING! Hotel had no microwave. It was a dreadful and awful 2 days It felt like a hotel you would rent by the hour!
