The room was clean, though clearly this is an aged property. The bed was nice and sleep quality great, but overall we were quite unimpressed with the staff who treated us as being inconvenient to their personal conversations. Requests for extra bedding and towels went unfulfilled and for the first 3 of 5 days nobody came to clean the room. All in all, would not stay there again.

This was the absolute worst experience ever! We booked the executive suite to suprise my mom for her birthday and we called weeks in advance to ask about decorating,checking in early and also there is a dark creepy executive room and a executive room thats bright and vibrant! They ensured us that we would have the light room and check in at 12. We only booked contingent on these promises. Needless to say they didnt check us in early and when they checked us in it was in the dark creepy room! The young lady admitted to the manager that she remembered talking to us and admitted that she promised us all those things andthey still didnt make it right! He staying in the lobby waiting on a room from 1pm till after 5!!! We didnt get checked in until after 5 and the room looked nothing like the pictures!! Definitely got catfished!! No phone,no wifi in the room and the tv didnt work! And maintenance couldnt fix it! Definitely the worst experience ever!!

The room was clean and comfortable. They did not have extra bedding for the pull out couch. The bathroom doors did not lock. The tub had no faucet for water so you would have to use the shower head to fill the tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and hot tub very enjoyable. Overall good stay but some updating could be nice.

If I was Keith Lee I’d give it a 6/10

Overall the place was clean. STAFF SUPER FRIENDLY!!! but pictures are misleading a little. We did ask for turn down services, came back after being gone for hours, and the room was not cleaned. We asked for more towels… I even went to the front desk and they said someone will bring them to the room. We never got them. The location was awesome tons of food places around the area. We thought the neighborhood was sketchy, but actually safe and nice around. We did not partake in the pool or breakfast, but it looked clean and delicious.

Maison St Charles has potential, but is long overdue per repairs to facilities. The staff is friendly and accommodating as best they can. Still, the property is in a great location near the trolley and Mr Ed’s Seafood is a great corner restaurant.

Front desk staff rude and unfriendly. Security personnel were very friendly and helpful. Room not cleaned daily and had to request fresh linens and toilet paper. Towel bar was secured with scotch tape and fell off wall with the weight of a towel; tv not working for 1 1/2 days and was finally fixed by a lovely security guard. The pool was unusable - could not see the bottom. Pretty courtyards but unfortunately there were only 3 very uncomfortable chairs for the whole place. This hotel has potential and could be a very nice place to stay with some general maintenance, a few upgrades, and more attentive and friendly staff.
