I had a fantastic experience at Loews New Orleans. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. As an Expedia VIP, I was recognized right away and received a complimentary room upgrade, which was a great start to the trip. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The entire hotel was spotless, and the staff were truly wonderful—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The amenities were a nice bonus. There’s a clean indoor pool and a well-equipped fitness center, both of which I used during my stay. The location is also ideal—just a short 3-minute walk to Canal Street and about 10 minutes to Bourbon Street. If you don’t mind walking or hopping on the streetcar, you can easily explore the city without needing a car. We used the valet service on our first day and didn’t touch the car again until we checked out three days later. Everything we needed was within walking distance, including tons of great options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Loews will be my go-to hotel every time I visit New Orleans. Highly recommended!

Hotel is beautiful with great location for walking around city. Front desk staff was sharp and polite. On the downside lot of fees not mentioned in booking and parking fees are terrible.

Great Hotel/Horrible Restaurant

We found the overall staff amazing. The restaurant was limited, restaurant staff was less than engaging. The bartender doubled as a host and spent more time with his bar guest than the two tables he was serving. I overheard the next table complain as well. His disposition was not friendly with the tables, but filled with laughter and joy for his bar patrons. The drinks were watered down and the food was "okay". We went to NOLA for the food and were not happy with the hotel food at all.
