My room did not have a working phone and when I asked front desk about it, they said they had no more phones. So basically anytime that I needed something from the hotel or staff I would have to get up go down to the front desk to request requested. That’s unacceptable and quite annoying.

My room was a decent size, but there were some issues with the toilet and the room didn't feel fully cleaned. The breakfast also had limited options, and I did not receive a room until 3PM even though I requested a room for an early time. I reached the hotel by 8AM and had to wait a while to get my room.

Myself and 3 other family members stayed here for 5 nights in 2 rooms over the New Year period. We were surprised by having to pay out for resort tax and security deposit without it being discussed with us properly beforehand. The rooms themselves were clean and spacious enough with good amenities. There were a few issues with faulty door locks and a shower head though. The water pressure wasn’t great in one of our rooms. The “free” breakfast wasn’t of great quality at all and we ended up buying out. The free water available nearly made my father sick as there was some slimy coating inside. We were talked into accepting discount vouchers on a tour by the concierge in exchange for a “hotel tour” that lasted 90 minutes. This turned out to be a hard sell for a timeshare scheme that took almost a whole day out of our holiday. Do not fall for this. The heating in the rooms sounded as though we were sleeping on an airport tarmac it was so loud. Pleasant enough staff though.

We stayed her pre cruise and it was a great location w/ clean rooms. I loved that they had dedicated valet (for $50) which was super nice in New Orleans. This hotel also felt super safe w/ key access.

LA QUINTA STAY WAS THE WORST STAY FOR MY FAMILY. PARKING: 2 STAR I ARRIVE TO THE HOTEL TO FIND OUT I HAVE TO PAY TO PARK MY CAR IN A PUBLIC GARAGE THAT IS ONLY ALLOWED 2 LEVELS TO CHOOSE FROM AND THE OTHER 4 LEVELS ARE VALET WHICH IS $50 PER NIGHT. THE OTHER OPTION PAY AT THE PAY MACHINE NEAR THE ELEVATORS WHICH CAN BE CONFUSING BECAUSE IF YOU COME OUT THE WRONG SIDE YOU ARE FORCED TO WALK AROUND THESE DARK STREETS WITH HOMELESS PEOPLE LAYING ON THE CURB WHILE YOU PUSH YOUR LUGGAGE. THE FEE AT THE MACHINE IS THE SAME BUT THE DIFFERENCE YOUR CAR SITS OFF A ONE WAY STREET UNTIL A VALET PERSON GETS IT. REMIND YOU PARKING ATTENDABTS RUNNING 2 LOTS CARS SAT AT THE VALET FOR HOURS BEFORE THEY WERE PULLED IN A STALL. POOR VALET. I GAVE THE PARKING STRUCTURE 2 BECAUSE OF THE CAMERAS. HOTEL: 2 STAR I CHECKED IN THE HOTEL . THE GENTLEMAN AT THE DESK WAS VERY POLITE KELSY IS HIS NAME HE INFORMED ME THE LOBBY DOOR IS LOCKED AT ALL TIMES AND IN ORDER TO GET IN WE NEEDED TO BUZZ THE DOOR OR OUR KEYCARD BY THE WAY YOU ALSO CAN ONLY GET IN THE ELEVATOR WITH THE KEYCARD FOR YOUR ROOM. I SAID WELL WE WILL NEED 2. HE SAID HE DID NOT HAVE ANYMORE THE ORDER WAS IN FOR MORE. WE ACCESS OUR ROOM WHICH IS BY THE ELEVATOR 301 RM. NO. THE WORST ROOM, YOU HEAR EVERYONE IN AND OUT THE ELEVATOR ALL NIGHT. THEY DID NOT HAVE A DO NOT DISTURB SIGN FOR WHEN WE LEFT THE ROOM. THE BATHROOM HAD MOLD THE FLOORS HAD HAIR ON THEM POORLY CLEANED SHEETS HAD CIGARETTE HOLES. THE AC/HEATER WAS SOME OLD MACHINE CLOS
