Nice boutique hotel, good location, enjoyed our stay. Might be haunted- both my friend and I thought the other was up during the night, and then eventually looked to see they were still in bed. 😳

The room was spotless, everything appeared to be brand new. A great old historic building with an art gallery in it, so awesome security. Across the street is the historic Customs house with patrolling Security, parking is nearby. Walking distance to cafe Du Monde, the casino, Canal place shopping mall of high end shops, near Brennan's, Court of two Sisters, Napoleon House, Absinthe House, and Jackson Square. Wonderful location. Just a great stay in a fascinating part of city in a really nice boutique hotel. Great price too. Highly recommended.

The room was not very clean. The shower had black mildew. There was a lot of hair on the floors. I was told there was a safe in the room on the booking, on the text reminder, and on the door to our room. There was no safe. The room we got with a king size bed just had one chair and a crappy refrigerator in the middle of the floor. The furniture, floors, and mirrors were all extremely worn and in pretty bad shape. The carpet in the hallways is also very worn and stained. They leave giant trash bags all over the hallways. The front desk woman was extremely unprofessional and kind of rude at check in. What they also don’t explain to you ahead of time is that you pay them $40/day for parking, but you have to park your vehicle yourself a couple blocks away. There is no valet. This is obviously extremely inconvenient with luggage and we were not made aware of this in advance. I paid way too much to stay at this dump and would not stay here again.

This is a great option for visiting New Orleans. The location can’t be beat - close to the action, but still relatively quiet. The rooms are a good size and had all the amenities we needed (lots of extra towels which is always a bonus). The staff is incredibly friendly and they allowed us to check in several hours early which we really appreciated. This will be our go to hotel from now on.

They gave us a really early check in which was so appreciated. The location is perfect and close to everything in the French Quarter. The only downside was the wi-fi (not good) and the light in the sofa bed room of the King suite which had a sensor and turned on when anyone walked by and our guest was sleeping in there and got woken up every time. Otherwise great experience staying there.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will say that the pictures online are quite glorified and very misleading. Our room did not look like the pictures! They show a chandelier, mirror, nice lamps and pillows and a rug to make it look high-end. NONE of that is actually in the room. It’s very basic. It was decent, but we definitely felt misled. The hotel itself is a bit “worn”, the carpets in the hallway are threadbare and there was rust on our lamps in the room. Outlets were scarce. The bathroom was pretty nice and the bed was super comfortable. That being said, the location is great and Coterie, the restaurant next door is really good. I don’t know if we would stay here again just because there are so many other nicer options and it was a bit irritating to feel like we didn’t get what was advertised. But overall it was decent and the cost is reasonable.
