Friendly and welcoming staff. The lobby feels like an art gallery. The room was quiet and comfortable. The location is a short walk to Canal Street. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops are nearby. The bar looked amazing; I was sad I wasn't able to grab a drink during my stay.

An updated room, 2230, is very clean, nice, and has a nice view. Every night, six floodlights from the outside ground level came on, and the lights shined brightly through the window. Nice area-pool (heat pump not working) area and jacuzzi (leg jets) had extremely hot water shoot out at intervals. Casino-smoke smell was tolerable and sometimes I didn't notice it. Bar restaurant that sold wings- I couldn't even stand at the counter to order because of the smoke smell (barely anyone there) I had a coughing fit to where tears came from my eyes. I had to order from my room. I would definitely stay there again and again.
