The hotel is right on Bourbon street which is crowded and noisy, but that is expected. Location and walkability were great, service was good, I think a limited continental breakfast and coffee in the lobby would have been a good addition (for us busy travelers )

A great four-night stay in the two-bed room with a shared balcony facing the swimming pool. We were afraid that we would hear noise at night during this Thanksgiving break stay, as there are parties for hockey games, but it was surprisingly not at all influenced for our room choice. Front desk people are really sweet. The swimming pool looks really lovely but the weather is a bit too cold to actually swim outside. The decoration inside of the hotel is quite adorable with a Christmas setting, and my friend and I noticed a lot of great actual paintings (not prints) both inside our room and the public areas. The French Quarter itself is a bit noisy and chaotic since a lot of bars are nearby, but the daytime experience is much more pleasant if you're interested in walking around and tasting some beignets. Cafe Beignet is pretty close at Royal Street. Canal street is not far either.
