it's very clean and quaint with decent security, but there are no refrigerators or microwaves in the room. There's really no room for them, because the hotel, being over 200 years old, has very small rooms unless you buy a suite. But it made eating late at night very difficult. Also, the ice machine is not convenient. If it weren't for the maintenance man, Billy, I probably would've given two stars. our heater didn't work in the room and Billy went down the street to a hardware store to buy a space heater for us. Also, there's something wrong with the television. We only got one station. They had two remote controls and we still only managed to get in one station. Smart TV people! Smart TV.

We spent our first night with no heat, the room was 55. Complained to the front desk and was told she couldn’t do anything but offer us another blanket. She was not friendly. The next morning went to front desk and he said he’d let maintenance know, he seemed bothered by me. Came back a few hours later and nothing so I asked the guy cleaning the rooms ( he was very helpful and friendly) he found the maintenance man. Maintenance guy (also very friendly) didn’t know about it. He got it working and brought me a space heater because he wasn’t sure it would keep working. It worked all night. The next day it quit again so we used the space heater and then we got it working again in the evening. Very disappointed that I paid over $200 for Saturday night to barely sleep because I was so cold.

The price and location are good. If there are coffee and supplies such as cups in the lobby, that is a nice touch paired with yummy popcorn. However, the rooms are so small (120 sq ft maybe) and the bed is up against the wall and absolutely as hard as a rock with brick pillows to match. Staff is definitely not the friendliest. The heat didn’t work thanks to a broken thermostat that was shorting out. Any requests seemed to be a chore. I stay in the French quarter frequently and absolutely will not stay at this location again.

T.V. couldn't receive signal. Hotel couldn't make operational. Heart turned off in the middle of the night. Freezing. Turned on again and it stayed on for the duration of the night. Otherwise a nice stay, very nice staff.

This place isn't bad, but could do with a bit of an update. Would be nice to have a fridge and microwave, as there are no cooking facilities. Staff are friendly, location is good, although the patrons in the bar across the road can be a bit noisy late at night. Definitely a lot worse place out there

Room was clean. Suite was laid out to accommodate 6 (up to 8 people with pullout sofa bed). Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was good with double sink. Convenient to restaurants attractions, but just far enough away from the nightlife to allow for quiet downtime and sleep. When problems arose, staff quickly attended to them. I would definitely stay here again.
