I didn’t like that we had to let the water in the shower run 30 minutes or longer for the water to heat up every time someone wanted take a shower. When I spoke to the manager about it, he was rude and had an “oh well” attitude. I thought he could have been a bit more understanding.

The shower has very weak pressure and takes a very long time to get warm. Shower didn’t have enough pressure to was your hair.Valet service moved my seat to extreme forward position, set my volume extremely high, set AC to maximum, changed radio settings, and left their bottled water in the car. Tip only after you check your car. You might consider parking remotely.

Convenient location as relative to shopping and dinning options. Hot water basically non existent in the room i stayed in. Let shower run for 20 minutes to get mildly warm water. Told staff about it but nothing was done. Arrived early to drop bags off abd was put on text list for early check in. An hour before check in i stopped in and asked about early check in and was asked if i had gotten a text about it. I told them i hadnt and they said that i was the 5th person that day they texted but it apparently didnt send or arrive.

This was a first visit for my husband and myself. Absolutely stunning hotel. The bed was so comfy. We enjoyed the large balcony. The staff was always so polite. There were just two downfalls while staying there. The water pressure on the shower wasn't a lot and there is no microwave in the room to heat up any of the leftovers.

Had to ask for sheets for the pull out sofa bed and that took hours. The room cleaning everyday was missing something:Coffee pods water, hand soap etc. I called the front desk to ask if I could get an upgrade for being Expedia VIP. She hung up on me three times without answering. I called back and eventually asked if she could hear me. She then answered that she will check on it. I never did hear back from them. The hotel never told me they will charge a destination fee if $25 per day. That was a shocker at checkout.

Pool area received little to no sun. Breakfast was good. They charge $5 for coffee when it’s complimentary just a few steps away. So we didn’t fall into that trap. Service was slow for breakfast. Hotel was nicely located and within easy walking distance to most things we wanted to see.

This was my 4'th time visiting the French Quarter. I didn't plan on spending much time in my hotel. Because: It's the French Quarter! However, I ended up spending a great deal more time in my hotel than I normally would have, and for all the right reasons. Everyone, from the valet who parked my car, to the receptionist, servers, bartenders, managers - unbelievable level of service. Claire (server in the Roux on Orleans restaurant) was excellent. Ken and Big T from Touchdown Jesus were amazing as well. There was also a bartender at the pool bar who kept me there for a long time because he was so engaging - I regret that I don't remember his name. I own my own bar and have been in the service industry for about 32 years and there's absolutely no one from this hotel that I wouldn't immediately hire on the spot. I hade an amazing experience. Also, I found plenty of time to experience the French Quarter.
