The positive is that the location was great. It's very near Jackson Square, and was easily walkable to French Quarter restaurants and attractions. It's a historic hotel so it was not just a cookie cutter room, but had personality. The negative for us was a dog that barked from midnight to 2 a.m. because the owner left him alone. Just be aware that it is a pet friendly hotel where people are likely to be out at night, so this might happen to you as well. For that reason we would not book here again, but it was a very nice hotel otherwise.
