I thought the room was extremely clean. I appreciated the number of towels, the comfortable beds and pillows, the numerous electrical outlets, and the large window. What really bothered me was the water pressure and temperature. The pressure was lacking and it was lukewarm at best.
I was surprised by how clean the hallways were and how nice it smelled. I have been in some hotels where the hallways are legitimately terrifying, so this was great. The elevators worked, I never had an issue with my keycard or the front doors. The parking pleasantly surprised me by affordability and relative safety. It was covered with multiple security lights/detectors to discourage tampering.
I can rarely eat at many places due to allergies and other conditions so I do like when those are taken into account (for example, soy allergies exist so having soy as the only alt milk is not helpful to many), but someone I was traveling with enjoyed the breakfast.
The staff were all friendly and polite when I interacted with them.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable for the price and amenities. It’s on Canal Street, just a short walk to Bourbon Street, and less than a mile to the French Market.
I’d definitely stay again.
