Resort fee hotel be aware

Overall it was ok but won't stay there again mainly because of the uncomfortable bed which was EXTRA hard that it felt very bad while trying to sleep on your side. The other reason is that there's a "$25 resort fee" per day. That may have been disclosed but i didn't know about it until i was checking in. The reason i picked that hotel was because it was a little cheaper than my other option, but with that resort fee, i ended up paying more. They give you these coupons for drinks and a free tour at some far away bar so definitely not happy about it in general. Other than that, it was a normal hotel with a working air conditioner.

Properties location was ideal for catching public transit and walking the french quarter. Staff was extremely friendly but the front desk seems to be in a constant state of constant state of confusion. The Travelocity rate does not match what the hotel charges, or the fact they want a 60 dollar a night incidental hold. I still dont have my rate straightened out after multiple trips to the front desk. I am now home trying to straighten it out.

Bad experience

If you are planning a trip with kids this is not a family friendly place since the pool is always full of people drinking and smoking. I also had to experience noises from a fight from the room next to us that started around 4am that woke up my baby. My 9 year old son was so traumatized by hearing the fight that he asked me to go back home so I lost the money for one night. I will never stayed at this located again.

The room was large and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was perfect with easy access to many restaurants and bars. The staff were helpful and polite. We had a great time in the city.
