"This is a beautiful cabin and location. We had a family of nine ( six 20-24 year olds and a 7 month old) stay for 6 nights. The owner thought of everything to make the stay fun and leisurely! The amenities and wide range of activities kept everyone entertained and no one wanted to leave to do other “tourist attractions.” Except for groceries, we basically never left. The beach combined with kayak, peddle boat, paddle board, and other water toys provided days of fun. Our family enjoyed the fishing too. We caught several bass and perch in the catch and release lake. The pickleball court was a huge hit with our group of 20-24 year olds. The kitchen was stocked with all needed appliances, utensils, pans and dishes. We cooked all of our meals and it was just like being at home. Owner communication was excellent. The property is maintained in pristine condition. Overall would score higher than 5 stars if possible!"

"Two night stay and the A/C was not working in our room (and others). They did provide a large fan and offered 25% off the room rate. We stayed at Hotel Meade twice previously, about 20 years ago, and the hotel is not as nice as I recall. Rooms could use updates and the outdoor patio area should be better maintained. The free breakfast was very good and the restaurant staff was nice. Front desk staff wasn’t particularly friendly. Understand they were in a tough spot with the A/C but they could have been a little more sympathetic. “Sorry” goes a long way. Great location."
