This hotel is s scam, Cheaptickets should not allow the hotel to publish pictures of the hotel that are either photoshoped or done in a way to hide the reality of this place. I meet several people who felt like me ...scamed by the hotel pictures. It is nothing of what it shows in the pictures advertised. If you are by tye beac and look at the hotel you wonder if it is safe.

Resort was basic, clean, well-kept. No frills--tissues, hair dryers, bottle openers, but had good safes in room. I was unable to get smaller bills for a $100 bill. Seemed like a loyal following existed. Be sure to ask for ground floor if stairs are a problem, because second floor was brutal for a senior.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The pictures are taken with embellished lighting and angles, in reality the place vaguely resembles what is presented. Upon arrival the "security guard" stared at my daughters as he took us to our rooms. The wood door had been kicked in at some point and repaired. The locks were minimal with no deadbolt. Our upgraded beachside rooms were nothing more than ground level looking into the neighboring resorts restrooms. The pool is not much bigger than a large hot tub and the beach and ocean can't be seen from there. The common area space serves as the bar/ restaurant/ gift shop/ and only place to get out of the sun. The bar staff is not friendly and are doing you a favor when you want a drink. Shortly before meal time all of the guests converge on the corner of the main building. Meals are served at exactly the time that is noted by one server. There are a couple of options for the all-inclusive meals. If you aren't in line you will miss out on the better options or miss out all together on the meal. For breakfast, one cook serves the premaid breakfast items and also prepares short order eggs or omellettes. If you don't want the eggs you still have to wait in line for the other breakfast items. The beach is very nice! However, the neighboring restaurant owner will greet you to see if you want to vist his restaurant and will also get you anything you need, smoke, coke, hash, women, anything you want. We stayed 1 night and transferred to a restort.

I’m going to give a real review from a common American traveler. This resort is more like a 1980s hotel on the beach with little to no upgrades. Pros: locals Beautiful Beach Close walk to fun bars and shops Cons: Locals - they are VERY touchy and if you say “maybe tomorrow” they will be up at the crack of dawn looking for you. Accommodations: we requested a two bed room when we arrived we were in a 1 king room which we were told was a double upgrade to ocean view. (Subpar to say the least) we did hear later these were triple the cost. They give you no beach towels and a lot of the chairs are ripped or stretched. There are limited beach spots maybe 30 chairs, get there early. “All inclusive” - there are minimal food options (like a meat, rice, and a fried dumpling and garlic bread) you get only a set menu of drinks which does not include simple things like margaritas, wine, or Bloody Marys. Alcohol is only 10a to 10pm.The pool is small by the ocean but stuck in a hole there is a bigger one but you have to cross a very busy street. Most rooms are across the street as well. We did witness the police arrest a local who was punched in the face and ribs by the next door security for being too drunk and resisting. The cops stomped on his face and tried were kicking him. Locals name was David and many people staying ran to help him because he was always singing on the beach. The cops were screaming if he didn’t stop they would make sure he didn’t live another day. Sad.

All inclusive did not include water!!! There was a charge per bottle, alcoholic beverage I could understand but basic water was excluded. Food on the first day not that great, I expected much better food over my stay. Hot or miss some meals. The hotel, location and staff was great. Had to go to the front desk for towels.

Our room was upgraded for free, the front desk staff was very pleasant. Beach was nice and clean and the food at the restaurant was great. Loved how everything was convenient when you wanted to go outside of the resort. Beautiful spot, will stay again!

The employees of Legends Beach Hotel, are amazing! Before, During, and After Hurricane Melissa, our needs were exceeded every time. They even gave us room service for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner in the middle of a Hurricane. The rooms are clean, and spacious, the bar is stocked beware of the Jamaican Rum Punch, it's good but it'll sneak up on you. The food was hands down the best I've had in Jamacia and this is my 3rd time going, the beach is always beautiful, white sand, local vendors, and crystal clear water. For your money you cannot beat the location, lodging, food, drinks, and excellent service. Take the time to talk to the employees to get to know them and the area, they have a lot of good insight about the area, and they know where you should go and where you shouldn't go. Hands sown the best resort, service, and time I ever had, and most of it was during a hurricane, the employees put there guests before there families and ensured our safety and made sure we were fed. I cannot say enough about there integrity and their work ethic. Legends Beach Hotel is my spot from now on, I hope you get to enjoy it as well!

I really enjoyed my stay here- I did have a minor issue that was resolved quickly so no details needed. The front desk staff were awesomely welcoming and friendly. They even brought a snack necessity bag room to room right before we left-right before hurricane Melissa. Marie @the bar was very attentive and provided great customer service. Now, Vanessa-waitress@the restaurant if not a manager- she needs to be promoted. She needs to be a trainer in Customer service for some of the others-she remembered things we liked-she was attentive and was always smiling and welcoming- we appreciated that with good tips. Overall, nice stay- would stay again. We do need to be able to charge food/drinks from the bar/restaurant to the room when not all inclusive. Security was great as well. One complaint which is out of the control of Legends-loud-booming music from another location going on until wee hours of the morning.

Great spot on seven mile beach. A very beach, cool vibe and dining room was nicely decorated. The rooms, albeit, somewhat dated were clean and good value for the money. Easy walk to a shopping complex just across the street. Lots of palapa for shade were available.
