The Space:

Still water stretches across Old Hickory Lake as the day begins, with quiet winter light reflecting off the shoreline just beyond the yard. Inside, the home offers an easy rhythm - a place to read by the window, share a warm meal, or gather around a board game while the lake sits calm outside. When evening settles in, the fire pit and peaceful setting invite slower moments beneath the Tennessee sky.



Lakefront setting

Set directly on Old Hickory Lake, this single level home offers a peaceful waterfront location with lake access and a private entrance. The home sits down a shared driveway and feels tucked into its natural surroundings while still keeping you within easy reach of Nashville. Being in a lakeside environment means the landscape is part of the experience, with nearby nature and occasional wildlife typical of the setting.



Living space

Inside, the home features an open concept layout that makes it easy to spend time together while still enjoying separate activities. The living area includes a TV along with books and reading material, board games, and a record player for relaxed evenings indoors. Central air conditioning, heating, ceiling fans, and portable fans help keep the space comfortable throughout the year. Wifi and a dedicated workspace in a room with a door allow you to catch up on work or settle into a longer stay when needed.



Sleeping arrangements

The home accommodates up to 6 guests across three bedrooms. The Primary bedroom includes a king bed. Bedroom 2 features a queen bed, while Bedroom 3 offers a full bed with a twin trundle under. In the living room, a queen pullout couch provides additional sleeping space. Room-darkening shades, bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, and clothing storage help make the bedrooms comfortable for rest after a day exploring the area.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen provides a space where guests can cook their own meals, whether starting the morning with coffee or preparing something warm on a quiet evening in. A dining table offers a dedicated place to gather for meals or conversation.



Outdoor living

Step outside to enjoy the waterfront setting from the private patio or balcony and private backyard - an open outdoor space that leads toward the lake. Outdoor furniture, a hammock, and an outdoor dining area create a relaxed place to spend time outside, while the fire pit and BBQ grill offer another way to gather as the day winds down.

Old Hickory Lake is just outside the door, making it easy to enjoy the lakeside surroundings. Nearby destinations include The Hermitage about 8 minutes away, Providence Mall about 10 minutes away, Nashville International Airport (BNA) about 15 minutes away, and downtown Nashville and Broadway about 25 minutes away.



Parking and additional details

Free parking garage on premises is available, and the home’s single level layout means there are no stairs in the home. Luggage dropoff allowed can help make arrivals and departures more convenient.



Lake access places the water right at your doorstep, offering a serene backdrop throughout your stay. Luggage dropoff is available for added convenience. No groups or parties allowed.



There is no dishwasher.

Other Things to Note:

Can’t stay as a group. Maximum 6 people on the property at any given time all related by marriage or birth. This is a family house & atmosphere not for groups due to my close neighbors who have been disturbed by guests who have abused by the rules. I’ve had to amend my guest requirements because there have been several abuses of the property.
