This historic Inn was great, room was spacious and we just loved the nostalgic feel. The breakfast made you feel like you were at home and not at a run of the mill hotel with a continental breakfast. The location was perfect for the event we were attending which was right across the street. The staff were super friendly, and we would highly recommend planning your stay here.

Quaint 1930s hotel with rocking chair porches, and well-appointed rooms. I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. Comes with breakfast, centrally located near beaches, shopping, and attractions. Communication was excellent, and staff was friendly and helpful. Keyless entry was smooth and uncomplicated. Definitely recommend!

We love this quiet bed and breakfast. We spent our honeymoon 29 years ago there and came for our anniversary. We love it so much we brought dinner to the room instead of eating out. The bed was comfortable and the view was breath taking!

Grateful to have been able to make last-minute reservations at this ocean view hotel in the Outer Banks July 4th weekend. Nice spacious well accommodated rooms-quiet, clean, safe. People sitting on the outside upper decks enjoying the breeze. Many historic aspects- from the photos on the walls to the upper library. Friendly morning staff, though late evening check-in was fully automated. No morning coffee or breakfast on-site because they don’t have a cook; but the hotel provided generous coupons for free breakfast nearby.

The room was comfortable overall, but there was noticeable dust on some of the furniture, and the coffee machine could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The washrooms were in decent condition, though they appeared to need better maintenance. On the positive side, the hotel is very close to the beach, and the views were beautiful. Since we were only staying for one night, it worked well for our needs. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a great location.
